I called it back - this is Client Services, Inc., a debt collection company. Unsure why they are calling us.

Just got a call from 913-971-0327(Kansas) looking for Mr. Long, told them they had the wrong number and she said its our next door neighbor and wanted to know if I had a number for them or if I could walk next door and put them on the phone. Crazy right! So out of concern for my neighbors (making sure someone was not hurt or in the hospital) I went and told him about the call. He tells me the neighbor on the other side of him got the same call three days before. I was informed that the people calling are using google earth and the white pages to call people's neighbors for most likely collections. My question is this we have our home number on the do not call register , so is this not breaking laws for them to call all the neighbors?

They called and did not leave a voice mail which is very inconsiderate and rude.
I called back, they were looking for someone I could not understand the name of!
I told them they should leave a voice mail when they call, and that they must not call me back!
The person on the other end(African American female) just laughed at me!
Someone should do something about this unethical people whoever they are.

Rudest people I have ever had call me.  Client Services.   Collection call.

We are unable to pay until disablility starts.  No way to know when that will be.   Have tried to tell them that, but now they are calling with threats and little do they know,  their name is in the hat,  as we get ANY money in, we draw names out of the hat and pay who we can.   Will take their name out of the hat.

We are NOT deadbeats,  I have become seriously disabled and have not been able to work for over a year.  Earning what I can from small income work at home jobs.

These people are NOT getting any bonus points for 9 calls per day.

Very unethical and illegal. Debt collectors cannot call anyone else but the person they are trying to collect from. They are not allowed to call neighbors or relatives, but sadly some do break the law.

I have been receiving many calls from this "client services" in which they use different numbers. I have reported them on the do not call list under complaints. Not sure who they are calling since they never leave a message. I don't answer numbers I don't know for fear of safety.

Received a call from this number today. They said they found my resume online and if I was still looking for a job, to call them back.  Very shady indeed. I won't be returning this call for sure.

It definately is a collection agency, they called and did not leave a message or reason for call or for whom they are calling. I called them back and verbally lshed out at them and told them even if I am the debtor get in line with the rest of them. Times a hard the econlmy is bad and they will get it when i got it and hung up on them.

Thugs, that's all these people are! They called me looking for my wife. I don't know they are, and don't care. If you don't want to tell me who you are then I can't help you....

That is harrassment if they are calling 9 times a day and you can report them for such behavior.,

any calls I receive and don'tB3B recognize the number, I just don't answer.  if it's that important then they can leave a message

They have been calling me for awhile w/out leaving a message. Today they did saying that it was "Carla with client services, I saw your resume on career builder and would like to speak with you"....I make it a point to not post my resume on career builder or monster.....

This number calls my business and when the answering machine answers they hang up. Right after that they call my cell phone and when the voice mail picks up they hang up.

they have lawyers advertising on tv.about suing debt collecters who keep harrasing at no charge unless they win a settlement for you. the more people who start suing these unscrupulis debt collecters the better

No. The Do Not Call Registry is for SALES calls (aka- solicitations).  They (Collection Agency) are doing nothing wrong by asking you to take a message to your neighbor.  In fact, the 'shock' your neighbor might feel as a result of having a debt collector contact his neighbor might prompt him to pay/settle their debt.  The only reason debt collectors would contact a neghbor of a debtor would be because they don't have a good phone number for their debtor/your neighbor.  Maybe your neighbor has changed their phone# to a non-published number, or uses caller-ID and simply refuses to answer the phone when debt collectors call.  My Advice: If you get a call for your neighbor again at YOUR phone number, simply ask if it is an emergency.  If they answer anything other than 'Yes, it is an emergency' (they will likely something like, "Well..., it's a VERY important personal business matter"), tell them that you will not deliver their message and NEVER to call your phone number again.  That will end the matter.

These people keep calling my home and cell phones. My husband is the only one working in the house. I am disabled and can not work. I keep telling them that and that they will get paid as soon as we can but they keep calling all hours of the day and night. I just got a call and it is 9 pm at my house. Stop Calling.

This company contacted my coworker at her home phone number with a message for me.  The gentleman at the company I spoke with was named Carl Wenzel and he laughed when I informed him I thought it was an awful tactic to shame people into returning a phone call by contacting acquaintances and that I wasn't sure it was entirely legal to contact non-relatives, etc.  He said it is legal if the reason for the call is never qualified.  Some websites seem to indicate this is not the case, but not sure.  He also stated they have a lot of information on me but I am curious as to how that was obtained.  A non-relative coworker's home phone number?  Seems awfully shady.
