Is this a personal phone number or a business phone. What is the name if the owner.

This # (914-224-2233) called my phone with a recorded message about card payments.  Don't know who they are. My home # is on the do not call list, and the subject here is totally irrelevant for me.  Clearly, they're looking to nab someone of their resources.  They need to be stopped

We get at least 2-3 messages from this number a week. It is always automated and a company is never identified. The message says it's our last and final noticed about some credit card. There is no way to get them to stop calling. They have been calling us for a good 2-3 years now and it's annoying.

Recorded message RE: lowering interest rate on credit card in accordance with the stimulus package.  (For the 50th time or so), this is their last attempt.  Thought I would push 1 and ask who they represented... they hung up on me.  Tried to call back and message said they were unavailable, and gave a message id that I don't remember.

Tired of getting calls from this number?  Google "colorado no call list complaints" and fill out of form to be sent to the State Attorney General.

People Keep calling - I am on the do not call list - I block, they change the number one or two numbers.  I have told them to take me off their list and they hang up.

This number called and hung up on me. I called back and no one answsered. I am on the No Call Registry. People like this make me wish I could eliminate all digital or analog calling.

The number du jour here:  9142242233. But they spoof numbers, too. Does not matter if you're on DNC list. FTC does nothing with complaints filed.

Check with your specific state, as Colorado seems to accept complaints only for area codes within Colorado. [303,970,719,720] -- Can use https://www.donotcall.gov/ but it does no good.

I got this call too, who do I report it to?  the BBB?  or attorney general?

yes they call here and say it is the last time.  Then they change their number and keep calling.  Gettin sick of it but you can't stop it.

I do not owe one red cent on a credit card. These people are scam artists. I wish the government would DO something. We can report these people to the do not call list till we are blue in the face but until they ACTUALLY take action, we will keep on getting them.

I have call blocker on my phone however, it only allows 30 numbers. When it is full, I have to unblock them all. Sort of like letting the prisoners out of jail.

Same thing:  "Wireless Caller" from a NYS/near NYC area code.  Partial recording (ans. machine picked up) stating "...lowering interest rates on our 'accounts'."   Never SPECIFIES WHAT ACCOUNT or even WHAT TYPE of account.  (Are they offering a reduction on our Student loans?  Mortgage?  Car payments???!!)  LOL

THEY ARE CRIMINALS, attempting a PHISHING SCAM - trying to get PERSONAL INFO IN ORDER TO STEAL MONEY FROM YOU, PEOPLE.  Since WHEN did LAWS ever stop CRIMINALS???  The reason they are not being stopped by the government is that THEY ARE SPOOFING their numbers (hiding the REAL numbers behind fake, computer generated numbers) and they are MOST LIKELY CALLING FROM OVERSEAS such as INDIA, PAKISTAN, PHILLIPINES,  AFRICAN NATIONS and other FILTHY THIRD WORLD HELLHOLES.  Our government has NO JURISDICTION over these people and these places, so ther is NOT much they can do other than BOMB the CRAP out of these countries - and start yet another war. I suspect this money is actually being used to FUND INTERNATIONAL ANTI-WESTERN TERRORISM, especially RADICAL MUSLIM based Terrorism (Al Qiada, Taliban, etc.). These people believe that Americans are all 'filthy rich' and can afford to be ripped off by them - and that they are "entitled" to our riches.  THEY think that THEY are the victims in this!
