The reason a large portion of the people are having trouble with this number is because this number is being "Spoofed" by Delta Outsource Group, a collection agency located in O'Fallon, MO.  They will try and gather enough information to create an account.  Many bank accounts have been drained by this establishment and many "Spoofed" phone numbers have been fraudulently used to aquire information.
This not only hurts people by the harrassment, but also hurts the establishment that the number belongs to.

Number 914-294-2543 called this morning before 8:30 am  and left no message from Yonkers NY said on caller ID

Calls multiple times a day.  As soon as my answering machine kicks on, they click off.  Last week they called at 10pm, surely not legal in some form.  At least they could have the courtesy to say something when my 4 year old answers.  How rude!!  :)

They are "spoofing" their number (hiding their identity).  This is illegal.  On December 22, 2010, President Obama signed the Truth in Caller ID Act of 2009 which make this a crime.  Under the bill, which also targets VOIP services, it becomes illegal "to cause any caller identification service to knowingly transmit misleading or inaccurate caller identification information with the intent to defraud, cause harm, or wrongfully obtain anything of value...." Forfeiture penalties or criminal fines of up to $10,000 per violation (not to exceed $1,000,000) could be imposed. [9] The bill maintains an exemption for blocking one's own outgoing caller ID information, and law enforcement isn't affected. [10]

I am also receiving daily calls from this Yonkers number too - at first I was curious as I grew up in Yonkers and had my son look the number up and got the above information - I am also on the do not call list.

They  keep calling  but  do not   leave a message ........

gee- this is annoying!  all day long-- 8 am until after 9pm!!
they never leave a message & I never answer numbers that I do not know..
this should not be allowed!!!

Well, we've managed to get on their list, despite being on the do-not-call list! Twice, so far in the last couple of days! Ugh, Perhaps after so many tries with no response they will go away. I should be so lucky!

Our number needs to be taken off this call list.  They are calling multiple times a day.

Number called at 9am, no name just yonkers ny and the number on the caller ID. Rang 3 times and they hung up before I answered. I believe its the first time I've seen this number/location on my caller ID.

Scumbag scammers dont care about the "do not call" list. They are trying to rip you off so a little thing like the DNC list isnt going to make them pause for a second. None of them will take you off their call list. That would take time and effort on their part and there is no upside for them to do it.

Comes up, "anonymous". I called it back.  Answers, March of Dimes. I, too am on the no call list. I just tell all of these callers that no one by that name is at this number.  They usually say my name wrong.

Have received numerous calls from this number, the caller ID only lists MOD. They never leave a message and they call at all hours of the day. We are supposed to be on the Do Not Call Registry but it doesn't seem to be an effective tool for stopping these types of calls.

After many calls, I finally answered. They asked for me using my maiden name, which I haven't used in years. So, that person obviously doesn't live here. I'm pretty sure it won't stop the calling, though. But one can hope. If there are so many complaints, why can't these calls be traced and stopped?
