called home left no message

Got this call, and I answered.  All I heard was static and then whoever it was on the other end hung up on me.

Repeated calls from this number; never a message left.  Caller id is MOD.

CALLERID "MOD" Different Numbers, Same CallerID.  On BLACKLIST, No more CALLS. Suspected PHISHER?

Several calls all day long, they never leave a message the last one was at 8:30 AM today. I thought they could not call that early.   Caller ID just says MOD.  I'm on the DNC list, wish it included "Charities" not allowed to call..

It's the March of Dimes, but their call center is behaving like low-life telemarketers.

Calling the number back does nothing -- nobody will answer.  Calling the General Inquiries Number ((914) 997-4488) gets you nothing but an automated system asking for some sort of ID number and/or PIN.

You CAN call your state office, numbers for which are also on the contact page:  http://www.marchofdimes.com/contactus.html  The representative I spoke to took my information, the numbers which had called me, etc. to forward to the national office.  Apparently these telemarketing tactics are earning them a LOT of bad feedback so if you want to pile it on your STATE office is where to call.

Remember, calling back or the general number gets you nowhere -- look up your state office to register a complaint.

I just got a call from this number also, it's 8 a.m.!
Caller ID just says a call from West Harrison, New York.
I did not answer, they hung up and left no message.

Constant calling, no message, bigger pain in the ass than "Stop Obama."  Stop calling me!!!

I registered my Home Phone on DO NOT CALL, but area code (914) keeps calling. How can they get by this?

Called today. left no message.

Called 914/368-2553 and it is for March of Dimes.  If you press 1 for more information, you will then be given the opportunity to be removed from the phone list.

When answered, no one is on the other line.
