phone rings four times; no message left
rang again pick it up nobody on the other side

Phone rang at 8:38 a.m.  Called ID read:  West Harrison, NY.  I did not pick up and no message was left.

Someone claiming they are collecting for breast cancer research and was a bit pushy/sales like call.
Thank you but no, we donate through the year directly to charities.

Called twice on two different days. Comes up on caller id as Breast Cancer S and both times they didn't leave a message.

Breast cancer research call. Would not take a poite no. I hung up

Shows up as Breast Cancer. I answered and no one said anything. Why bother calling? Just want to see if I was home?

Caller ID says call came in from West Harrison, NY.

woman asked to speak to the lady of the house, I asked who was calling and I think I was switched to a very good convincing recording saying they are raising whatever they can to support women fighting Breast cancer,  and asked for an address to put in whatever we could.

We support cancer here and hear this all the time from phonies so I said we could try and got the brush off and hung up before I finished.

I have entered Non-profit but doubt this is a credible fundraiser

I'd bet these folks are cousins of the "charity" (as in "help yourself, scumbag") that the NYS Attorney General's Office just shut down in May 2013.

called 8am left no message

Having told this caller (who had a long, long intro and would not be interrupted)  from a breast cancer co that I am up to my limit with time and money with the charities I already belong to she proceeded to tell me very firmly that these people need the money and their lives depend on it....I told her I am keeping up with my many charities but having trouble keeping up with my own medical test bills myself at the moment and she yelled DON'T DRAW THE LINE THERE!!!.......I told her she was rude and she said 'have a nice day' in \that' voice........very upsetting

Somebody called this # asking to speak to the lady in the house. I said who is calling ? then she hung up.

I get a call from this number every once in a while and several other numbers. I think they switch off their numbers to throw us off. I use to answer but if you tell them you give to a certain amount of charities  a year
they become rude and nasty or they try to make you feel guilty. so I don't answer anymore. What's the sense of being on the do not call list if they keep calling anyway. I update every year.

I've received calls ranging from as early as 8am to after 7pm and never leave a message. Answered once and said I wasn't interested but keep calling for the past 2-3 weeks.

I don't like being solicited for donations. I chose & make donations on places I've researched and know about. Being that they insist even after getting a no, I think it's some sort of scam.

Any calls I get from West Harrison NY are scams!  One week they claim to be March Of Dimes, next they're the Cancer Society, sometimes they claim to be some sort of police benevolent association.  I don't answer these calls, I BLOCK THE NUMBERS!   Wake up people -- LEGITIMATE callers don't get rude when you decline to donate.  DON"T ANSWER PHONE CALLS FROM UNKNOWNS.  If they're for real, they'll leave a message -- a polite one.  Then, you can call back, or block them from calling again.

This number asked for a "....." and I said Sr or Jr & she went off that she was actually looking for anyone who could make a donation to breast cancer.  She hardly let me say NO THANKS.  She was very rude & nasty even after I told her that our family does 'time' not monetary donations due to our economic situation.  WTF!

Call came in as West Harrison, NY, and it came in while I was already on the line with someone else, so didn't answer.  If it was a charity, next time, ask the person's name, ID number and full name of the charity.  I cold called them back and got a recording, Breast Cancer Society, and it said their voice mail was full, could not leave a message.  I NEVER, never donate over the phone, too many scams out there....

I have received many many calls from West Harrison, NY, 914-368-2554.  When I am not at home they do not leave messages on my answering machine.  The one time I was at home I answered the call and a woman told me she was calling from the Breast Cancer Organization.  She asked if I could donate $75 to $100 then asked for my credit card number.  I asked for the info to be mailed to me.  Was told they do not do this.   Do these people think I am stupid enough to give out my credit card number when I don't know who they really are!  The Breast Cancer Organization needs to clarify this in a hurry.  It's an injustice to their reputation and to those women fighting breast cancer.
