This number called me and another phone on myaccount but we didnt answer and when w. Called back it said "press 1 to be put on the do not call list"

I pushed 1 to talk to a representative named Ryan who asked my name. As soon as I told him he hung up on me! Midsentence! And I still cant get taken off their call list. They call me almost daily.

I just got this call today but didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number and don't know anyone in Armonk Village, NY.  They didn't leave a voicemail.

They said it was a carpet company. When I told them I was ona restricted do not call list the hung up on me.

Nuisance call

Woman from "" Web Service Co"" called wanting to know if I'd like my rugs cleaned. I hung up immediately. Interestingly this came immediately after several probably bogus calls from someone posting as the phone company requesting mediate payment or threatening to terminate my service...and the bill is already paid. The phone company is trying to track them down. Just thought the timing of these calls was odd.

I didn't it.  I am on the DNC list; but I think that is a joke.....I think they just keep trying #'s, so if I do make the mistake of answering a call like this, I just don't talk, and they don't hear any noise.  I'm thinking of getting a loud whistle to blow in the phone, but just thinks it might make calls like this more frequent.

Oops, I meant to say that "I didn't it".....was supposed to say....I DIDN'T ANSWER IT.

Rec'd call from this # 2 1216 PST.  It was a missed call but since the area code was unfamiliar, I looked it up and this is where my search led me to.  I also don't know anyone from Armonk, NY.  No VM msg was left.

Robo call for carpet cleaning in ca

I got a call from this number, heard a recording to clean carpets etc. Push 1 to talk to a person to set up appointment. Told them I am on the do not call list. No reply, I think they hung up. On my caller id it came up as  online update.

I had the exact same experience today. I pressed one, but to ask to have my number removed, not to make an appointment like they wanted. A woman answered after several rings and just said, "Carpet Masters." When I asked to have my number removed, she said "OK" in a crappy tone and hung up on me.

always busy after missed call

Received a voice mail on home phone at 5 pm 10/4/201 from this number. Recorded (male voice) saying : "IS THIS DAVEY JONES" (fake name inserted here).......then a disconnect.  Caller ID said it was from 914-499-3484..but ID was labeled "ONLINE UPDATE".
freeeky. :-(
