This call comes in as "consumer services" on the caller id and they call several times a week, never leave a message. Don't answer the phone for unwanted & unknown companies.  If they can't even leave a message, then you can bet it's something you don't want or need.  Blocking this one as we speak!

I get the same calls too many times a week. I have no confidence that the National Do Not Call list has much value. The caller just laughs when I say that I am reporting the call. The only way it could work, if a law is passed that private lawyers could sue.

I keep getting these calls and when I push #1 to tell themto stop they hang up.   It is obviously a scam, but I can't see the point since I haven't had a credit card for 15 years!

Automated dialer when I connected and asked to be removed from the list they hung up on me.

they have been calling my number for about two months, sometimes up to six times a day....I can't take it anymore thinking about changing my phone number to see if that helps....I have gotten up to a dozen a day from others...I'm on the do not call list but that hasn't helped any at all....I work nights and sleep days and need my phone for on-call....don't know what to do as I really need my sleep.....help.........................................!!!!!!!!

I live in Illinois; why would I want to give out personal info for credit card debt to an unknown caller in New York?  Do they think people are really that stupid?  Since Do-Not-Call must transfer into Please-Call-Me, maybe one of those airhorns in the phone would give them something to think about.

To put all such calls out of business, I would suggest a one cent tax on all calls,
(with a tax rebate to humans of $25.00/year)

Actually, I'm lonely and enjoy talking to these callers. It give me a chance to tell them things like:

1. The biopsy came back. You have breast cancer.

2. Call the police! Someone is pointing a gun at me

3. This is the emergency room. Your mother/sister/etc. was hit by a car and has died here.

4. Fantasies of a sexual nature that I'm too modest to share.

Stuff like that. Makes me smile and keeps me occupied while sitting in a wet Depends waiting for someone to come in and change me. These calls improve my quality of life. Not only that, they keep the otherwise unemployable working and off of welfare. As for the scams? And think about it, just as god created prey to be eaten by the predators he created, he also created marks to be fleeced by his beloved scammers. Just part of the glorious circle of life.

Recorded message telling me that lots of people fall and break their hips.  So I guess they change the scam from credit cards the home monitoring systems.  

The DNC List doesn't work because these calls are coming from international locations.  The US government doesn't have jurisdiction over foreign countries.  We can't do a thing to Nigeria, Russia, the Mideast and the Caribbean (and many more, I'm sure).  I have call block.  Every time they call me from a new number, it gets added to my Panasonic phone call block.  I highly recommend some kind of call block.  That's the ONLY way you can stop your phone from ringing.

I press 1 wait for operator than put my phone next to radio, if they think I have time for this than they can waist their time by listening to my radio station

This is a fraudulent caller/spammer trying to locate active phone numbers to sell to other prospective spammer/callers.  "Hi, this is Carmen from Card Services".  How I would love to see these people gibbeted along the coast.  

blocked this number with ATT Uverse having them use *77 and asked them to place the number on their internal list of numbers that are a HOTLIST for lack of better words.  They also use number: 321-209-7177 which I also had ATT block.

Constantly calls, never anyone on the other end of the line. Caller ID states consumer services, however, eight or nine different phone numbers call with the same caller ID! This makes it nearly impossible to block when they just use different phone numbers each time.
