this number called my work!  They also left a voice mail on my cell phone, could not understand the man, he had such a bad accent.  Said his name was Rick Foster, and that I should call a lawyer!  I have no idea what this is about.

I got 4 calls from this number yesterday in back-to-back succession. Did not answer any of them. Finally left a message saying his name was "Mr. Johnson" although his Eastern Indian accent was so thick I couldn't understand him very well. He threatened me with criminal charges if myself or my "attorney of record" did not return his call immediately.

Are these calls legit? I've gotten similar calls from different numbers in the past and reported them but they keep coming.

Just got a call from this number.  A man with a thick accent told me he was a officer and I needed to give him the number to my attorney for three criminal charges.  I have no idea what this is about!  I said if you are an officer you should be able to tell me what this is about.  However, this man then told me I needed to call a number and speak to a man name Ron Cooper and he would tell me all about it.  I informed him my sister is a cop and just told us about these scams going on and I hung up.  If this is real and he is real he should have been able to disclose information about a case to me as the person whom charges are filed against. Right? Right!  I guess I will wait and see what the outcome is.

Keep getting calls from this number. A man with an accent. I never answer but he continues to leave messages saying the same thing. That my lawyer needs to contact him and not to ignore the calls and if i dont call back best of luck to me. This should be stopped.

I have been receiving calls from this number.  I didn't answer for the first 10 or more calls and no message was left.  Then when I do answer they don't say anything.  I just got a call and answered the phone but they didn't say anything so I hung up but there was a voicemail on my phone from them saying not to ignore the call.  Mentioned something about a lawyer and wished me the best of luck.  The person that left the message was a Rick Foster but when you call the number back it says the voicemail box if full.  These calls must stop!!!!!

Ronny Cooper from number 914-612-7261 keeps saying a lawsuit has been filed under my name and social security number. I have to say that when I called the number someone picks up the phone like it's their house. I asked "What type of employment do you have there?" Man on the other side of the phone in heavy accent said, "This isn't a place of employment this is a law firm." Yeah right. I have writen to my local news maybe they can find out what's going on ... it's annoying and probably illegal!

OMG! I got the same call a couple of days ago this people has my personal information even my ss#. How can we protect ourself from this stupid people with a tick Indian accent & how they have access to our information. I even had the change to talk to this Ron Cooper when I asked how he got my info & to provide the case # so that my sister who was a lawyer can call him back he start yelling stating he was going to sent the sheriff to arrest me at my work because I refused to pay them. I told him how can I pay for something I had no clue what it was, he started threaten me & hang up when I told him I was recording our conversation.

Got a message on my work phone (anyone in my area can use it!) from "Steven Scott" same the same stuff and wishing me luck. Just wondering, did anyone request info on a cash advance or payday loan recently? Cause that's the ONLY time I've EVER put my work number on something.

I ask any one that gets this call to report it to the attrny  genrl, this has to stop.

Lol I got the same phone call from Ronnie cooper and he told me I own them 745 dollars from a loan company. And if I did not pay them they would come all the eat to key west to arrest me .(they can kiss my [***] ). I'm glad this is allllllll fraud . They really need need to catch these fools .

I fot this call this evening I told this fool t kiss my ass that he was a liar.  Yes this information was from applying for a payday loan. why on earth did i ever do that. but thats another nightmare.  back to this man that called this evening. I told him he was a liar and could not even speak english then i hung up. he called back but i cursed hime so badly that he hung up. What a big mess applying for a payday loan has caused.

Same guy called me Ronnie Cooper stating there were 3 charges against me if I didn't pay him $650. He wanted me to Western Union him the money. Told me there will be a sheriff at my house Monday morning to pick me up and drag me to jail. Then called me a female dog. And hung up.

this same idiots called me today...even called my job asking for authorization to my bank account. at first i didnt have a clue what this was and they have very strong indian accents..the man told me to shut up and listen to him and if i said a word he would hang up and notify the sheriffs department about 3 federal charges.. i called the state police to report and they notified me of this ongoing scam. what can be done about this? i also had inquired about a payday loan. i think it would be a good idea for everyone to change their bank accounts to these guys dont try to scam your money

This is a scam! They are claiming that i co-signed for a cash advance for a friend of mine whoam "defaulted' on his payments and that I was responsible. And after I confronted him about it, he threatened to "Kick [my] ass".

I'm calling the FBI they will take care of the scam and make a report to the local news. I encourage you to do the same!!

they called me today had ssn # and my work even where i banked dont know what to do but kinda scary all the info they had

they called me at work about ten times and threatened me with a lawsuit and that the government was gonna take my ssn away for credit fraud, he also told me i had better get a lawyer, but with me he said his name was Mark Watson, Customer Affairs. Yea Mark is full of s***

Yes! They just called me an hour ago and I called a local lawyer. He helped me by googling the phone number.  I see many of you are in the same vote as me. It's scarry. This guy with a thick accent read back my whole SS# to me!! My lawyer said I should contact the three credit report sites just incase someone out of the country was trying to start a business in my name. God help us! Please!

This Mark Watson has call me like 10 times today to my cell and work telling me that there is a lawsuit agains my name and ssn. He has a thick accent and nasty attitude. He told me he was going to get me arrested ..
