This number called me 10/12/11 and had my social security number, and old address, and all my work info. They said they were with the FDIC and claimed I took place in bank fraud through an online payday loan service. What their claim was that I never paid them back, and I have used the online payday loan service before but I paid back in full and have an emailed receipt. Since they had an old address but current email address, I called their bluff and asked to be sent a bill or some documentation on their claim. All they wanted from me was to give them more information and when I wouldn't, the guy on the other line called me and ignorant american fuc# and started cussing me out. I hung up on him then realized they left their phone number on my voicemail the day before so I called them back and asked for a manager, they never put me on hold they shuffle the phone around and someone else picked up the phone and he started cussing at me right away so they must have caller id. Anyways, scary these guys have my info.

Did you get a name? If so let me know. These guys are claiming now that they work for a big world wide law firm. I wanna get these people in front of a judge if they are stateside and I wanna go after them legally. I'm sick of these a**holes scamming everyone. Time for some of my own fun.

I just got a phone message and they said I was guility of fraud. What!!!!!!!!!!!!!! called them back and got some kind of weird signal. This is a scam. Left his name, but of course, I could not understand him. His accent was sooooooooooooooo thick. (LOL)

I have a received a call from this number 914-881-1138 claiming to be with a Legal Processing Department and his name is Alex.  Is threatening to garnish my wages which is the first issue I have.  The state of TX does not do a garnishment unless it is a Federal issue.  He is threatening Legal action and he is calling me at work.  I called them back and asked who he was and he said his name is Alex and he is with Legal Processing and he has three claims out against me.  I told him he is not authorized to call me at work and I looked him up and found out it is a scam.  He asked for my home number and I refused to give it to him and he threatened me with garnishments.

Last week I contacted an attorney who said he could not help me because these scams are prevalent and they are not located here in the US.  He said the best thing is to hang up and not talk to them.  If they need to reach me they can do so through my address etc.

I just got a call on my work phone from thes ppl and I let it go to VM. Then they called my cell phone. What can we do about these scameers?

I just rec a call from these people claiming that they are filing charges against me for an unpaid pay day loan but they can't tell me who the company is and what the amount is - says they will have me arrested and take me to court.  Where in the US or India?????

This company is a scam. They make threats which is a against the Federal Fair Credit Bureau Act. When I called them on it, they started cussing. I played allong and kept calling them back going allong with them. They got the information from an online payday loan website. As I said, it is a scam. Do not pay them anything. They will threaten to kill you, but it has been a month and I am still alive. They are worthless low life people who can not get a real job. They first called saying they were a law firm. Now they are calling saying they are with the Federal Government.

Yes - he's calling us now and we are working with authorities.

These lowest of the lowest (even the hell will not admit these [***]!) guys called me at my work place and home (the name is Glen smith - obviously a fake name) and threatened me with arrest and getting fired from the work place etc- same old story). I contacted my supervisor and had him block these calls from these mother fuc....!

I just cannot understand why there is no way by law that these scam artists cannot be stopped from harassing innocent people.

everything you guys have mentioned aqnd more... except he claims to be a jack vilson and then a indian man answers but will never forward me to his associate. says he will have me arrested if i go to court called me an ignorant [***] im annoying... on and on. when i called him out on him saying they sent me notices at me email about arresting and suing me i told him it would have to be done in person not email. this dude is weird.

These People are calling me and my place of employment, Claiming that they are Legal Processing LLP. They are telling me that they are calling about a legal situation that they are entitled to garnish my wages. They also called my place of employment claiming the same thing

There called my and told me I have to pay them $3500 for a loan I took out there hat my SS# adress work and Phone there hat all the info you need,since I benn having Problems because some hacket in my E-Mail acct,I told them to go to The Copes,he gat mad on the Phone,thats when I hang up,There a schan Trinng to get Money dont pay.

Call the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and your State Police. When they call back, tell them that you are aware they are running an extortion ring, have notified the authorities and hang up.

Thanks so much to the previous person posting this. I just got off the phone with a "Mike Jones" from there. They had the last 4 of my ssn, old address, and an old email. I told him since I couldn't understand what he was saying to me on the phone to send it in writing and he said have a good day and hung up on me. I also used a payday loan but it was from 2006 and this freak said it was from 2008 or 2009...RED FLAG! I feel so much better knowing this has happened to others.

This number called me also! First they called my job, which gave me a number of 914-881-1138 and a name Glenn Smith. When I returned their call, they said that I accepted a payday loan from them in August of 2011 (which I did NOT). they had my checking account number and the name of my Credit Union which was pretty scary. I could barely understand this man, He asked me if my lawyer was available, so I conferenced my credit union in on the call, to verify that I never had a deposit by this "company" he said the name was of the payday lender was a United something. when I asked for his supervisor, he hung up. The credit union immediately closed my checking account and gave me new information. If this happens to you, and you did not accept a payday loan from this company, I would suggest that you immediately close your checking account.. This is some type of phising scheme, but they may actually have your information. They did not get any of my money thank goodness, so good luck to whomever else this happens to.

Ok I am receiving the same exact calls.  I had my lawyer call and they hung up on him.  They won't send him the paperwork or anything.  I have an idea.  I am going to start calling them non stop saying they owe me money and a whole bunch of other things.  on Nov 9th 2011 forward everyone who wants to get some pay back blow this number up!  Do not leave them alone, have your friends call them, block ur number.  If anyone has that app that will call someone a million times or can change their number do it.  Lets tie up their phone lines so they cannot call anyone.  Who is with me on this?  Because honestly if we work together I do believe we can really piss these guys off.  And honestly not only am I filing a complaint but I am doing W.e I can to disrupt them and give them a taste of their own medicine!

Hey guys i have receives some phone called and the last two days. They told me they work for a legally law farm and they have all my information like ss# where I work and home address. It was a pay day lone that i did about three years ago and I do not remember if i pay them back or not. Then he told me i owed this much money if I do not pay them  they going to take me to court and i will go to jail for 14 counts of bank fraud. the number i have is 409-497-9267. So i do not know if this real or not oe what should i do? and they also told me that i need to go to walmart to get money package cash back reload card and once I get the money call them back and give them a the acct number on the back of the card.Once again thanks for everyone time.
