Got a call from this number unkown name no message.

This is another number for the Spam calls to update your google listings that is not really Google.

I blocked the following numbers and then they changed to this one.

and they are a scam and will rip you off.  Best advise store number in contacts and set ringer to no ring.

Got a call from this number.  No message.  Stop calling.

True they just come up with different numbers.  I have note on my computer with some of the numbers.
This was a new one today - I added it to list:
915 996 9379 Unknown Name, 915 966 2895, 832 367 2345 Windows?, 253 882 9041 Local Placement, 859 740 2384 UnKnown, 760 705 8888 Unknown, 405 4126-1899 YMCA OKC, 619 704 2766 UnKnown, etc.
I am beginning to recognize some of the area code and check before I answer- If on list or close to list I just don't answer.   I try to always post on the boards so their is a record of this companies abuse.

Doubt it does any good but I will continue to post.

As some others have stated, you'll receive a call, automated system mentions your Google placement & please hold to update your listing information. A rep gets on the phone, runs your phone # through Google, tells you what info is already listed/verified, infers they are "part of Google", tells you other categories for your listing to utilize for a price. I asked point blank if their company was an affiliate, partner, division of Google & finally got a "no." I then asked for the name of the company he was employed with a he gave some marketing company name. I asked if that is actually part of the company another poster listed "29" something or other & he said yes & tried to go into the sales pitch for us to pay for placement on the "top spots in Google." I assured him our business already lands in the top 5 of Google, Bing, Yahoo & most other search engines without us paying for SEO, sponsored ads, or anything that costs $$$. Insisted he remove # from their call listings & he finally said he would do so.

Just received a pre-recorded message from "Google" using this number, wanting to update our Google files.  I don't think Google--an internet outfit, would do any kind of unsolicited phone calls or emails to gather personal information.

My husband hung up on them.  I'm afraid we're going to get more of these calls, as we just received another "computer" hang-up call, which usually means they're trying to find out who's home, to place another of these nifty calls.

Any unsolicited phone calls from Google, or any other organization are usually bogus.  I hope people are smart about that.

The most recent number I have received these calls from is 915-996-2895. They claim to be Google Voice although it is 29Prime. You can go to their website and be added to the do not call list. I also called into their office and the receptionist told me that they update their list every Monday, so basically you have to call in every Monday and be taken off the list. If you want to take it to the next step there are legal steps you can take they pay out well. Contact the Attorney General and advise them of what is going on and they will tell you the next step. I have done my part and are trying to get this company to stop calling! Everyone please email the Attorney General and eventually they will put a stop to all of this!

You are correct in not providing ANY INFORMATION to a Company you did not call.  Most are off shore, use disposal cell phones that cannot be traced. If you do not recognize, don't answer. Nothing is gained by accepting the offers, other than grief. Giving them access to credit cards, bank accounts. etc., will make them richer and you poorer. Report to FCC with the number if they attempt to call you again. Sooner, not later, they may get the message. W Field stated, a sucker is born every minute. Don't become a statistic.

SEO Marketing Company making "COLD CALLS" to sale you their marketing scheme to rank your listing higher in the search engines, stressing on Google listings. Whether or not they are legit, if you read their website, the company is only a couple months old. When you do business with any company, always do your research first. Here's their real info below. 915-996-2895 ,  I just got a call form them it said "PRESS ONE NOW" ,
yet nothing when you press one but another recording.

So I called the 949-777-6616, the number I found here and called them and pressed 0, got some girl who I chewed out and then told her I was on the Do Not Call List and I was recording her on the phone call. She said it was against the law to record her without telling her, and I told her I'm in NY and it is legal as long as I know I'm recording it. She said she was in CA, I told her it didn't matter cause the recording being done is here in NY. I chewed her out some more till she hung up. Then I called the number back again and and pressed 1 for sales and got a different girl who I chewed out. Both girls stated they would remove my number from their listings, but I told them they told me that last time and I'm still getting their calls.  
I only have a cell phone with minutes, but if I had a phone where it wouldn't cost me I'd continue to call them back and harass them over and over.

i also get call from same number. they never say anything and just hang on the phone. when i call there is answering machine.

so annoying. they call constantly and have a ton of different numbers (as many ppl have stated above), and they never remove me from their call list.

wow,,, I have documented over 1200 calls in the past 60 days to my company,,, I ahve complained called them etc,, NOTHING,, I did call our local District attorneys office,, they told me to call my carrier and ask them what to do,, GO state of Florida,,LOl

I keep getting a voice mail from this number...all it says is:  "Please press 1 now...press 1 now...please press 1 now..press 1 now?

SICK OF THIS!   I DID NOT ANSWER...NO MESSAGE LEFT.

We have received many phone calls from this company.  The automated message says they represent Google and want to update our personal information.  Google is an internet company.  They would not be contacting anyone via email or by telephone.  We have received calls from this company--though a different phone number--I've reported them to the No Call list, and the calls have stopped for a time.

After a myriad of phone calls recently--three in one day yesterday--I finally reported them again to the National No Call List.  We probably won't be hearing from these people again--until they get another new phone number...  ARGH!
