- NAThey have called me 8 times since this morning and it's only 4pm right now. i picked up and said to stop [***] calling me. and they are still calling.
- bobbi916| 1 replyI just started getting these today and I'm furious. 10 times since about 10 am. No message and no sound when I answer. I'm getting really pissed off. Can people block their numbers with this 000-000 thing? I was thinking maybe some political call but they usually leave messages. No one to complain too since can't ID the number. This is harassment.

- sf replies to bobbi916I started getting calls from this number this morning as well. The first call came at 10:45am, and they call every hour like clock work. I finally answered an hour ago and didn't say anything. No one answered or said anything, so they finally hung up. They just called again right now and I answered and didn't say anything, and finally I hear an unfamiliar voice say "Hello?" Then he hung up! This is annoying, and it is harassment, because if it's so important for them to call all day you would think they would have left a message by now.

- The EXI received a call from this unknown collection agent. They refused to identify them selves and continued to harass me as to the whereabouts of my EX wife and Mr. wonderful!

- Call type: Debt collector
- Speckles| 1 replyGot a call from this number. Message was left by "investigator Anita Walsh" requesting I call her back at 888-483-5108. Thankfully I have credit monitoring/ID theft service. When I contacted my credit monitoring service they explained its likely a scam to get info from me. They said not to return the call and don't answer it in future if they keep calling. They will try to claim to be debt collector.
Be safe and sign up for ID theft monitoring services. - DFS replies to SpecklesYep, I got 4 calls this morning from the same number, from "investigator" something-or-other, claiming something about a BMW that I knew nothing about. At first I thought it might be a real bad debt collector confusing me with someone else, but the manner and tone of this person far exceeded that of any legitimate, or at least non-psychopathic, debt collector. I tried to reason with him for about 30 seconds, gave up and told him to ****-off and hung up. He called back immediately. I told him if he didn't stop calling that I'd call the police. I did, and he called twice more while I was on the phone with the police department, whereupon I just ignored the calls. I do expect them to call back again, probably in the middle of the night, or something like that. The police told me what to do if he called back and wouldn't stop, and they also suggested to check my credit report, but that this was likely just a new type of "bunko" live phishing scam designed to frighten and take advantage of elderly, inexperienced or slow people who wouldn't know better. They were probably phishing for a phony payment or my credit/banking info, in order to steal from me. BEWARE THIS SCAM! If they call you repeatedly, call the police and ask what to do. The telephone number they use is probably one that no legitimate organization would use, and is probably a tie-in with an anonymous internet site they use to VOIP their potential victims.
