calls every few hours, rings once, hangs up. Calls to this number always go to voicemail

No message -- so I tried to call them back!   It rang 12 times, but no answer (and no way to leave a message).
When I looked it up under a reverse phone number website, it says it's Michigan Bar, CA -- but I'd have to pay to get the other info -- which I'm certainly not going to do,

I received a call from 916-234-6544, it is a recording from a company called Central Heating and Air, wanting me to schedule a check up for my HVAC.  It says to press 1 to schedule a service call, or 2, to be placed on their No Call list, however I am on the Do Not Call list, so I pressed one and asked the guy WHY he was calling me when I was already on the DNC list, he just hung up.  I turned them in to the National Do Not Call registry.

Have been getting multiple calls from this number.  Rings a couple of times - when we answer, there is no one there.  I called the number back and it went straight to voicemail. - no identification.  Caller Id says the call is from Sloughhouse, CA.  Our phone number is on the DNC list.

Exact same issue for me.  Being reported by numerous other persons.  Will be turned into phone carrier and Sheriff's Office.  Violation of Federal and State Laws.

This company has been calling me for weeks and says to call back and leave a number to make an appointment.  I have called back numerous times and left a message that we were on the DO nOT CALL LIST and NOT to call any more.  Also left a message I was going to report it - which I did.  Then I get two or three calls from them in a row with just a hangup.  This company needs to be fined and closed down.  I tried to find a number for a telemarketing call center in Sloughhouse to track them down, but couldn't find a number for them.

Called a few times today, I do not answer calls I am not expecting, but they left no voicemail, so at least now I know it was indeed a telemarketer from what I read here.

called couple of times today.  then when you call back it saids it's a long distance call and it wouldn't go through.  I also live in the 916 area code, then when i call from my cell phone, it goes right to voicemail and it's some male voice but no company name. never leaves a message. this guy needs to be reported.

If you do meet with them, get a business card before anything else.  That way you have physical proof of their presense.

Can you mention who you reported this to so that the rest of us can do the same?

Getting numerous calls, sometimes 3 in a day, from this number.  When I call back to it, it goes straight to voicemail (male voice who doesn't identify himself).  The number shows an address in Sloughhouse, CA on the internet.

This number has been calling for 2 months. Leaving no message.  Want it to stop..

These people (or, at least, their computer) call me in the morning, then again after suppertime.  Very annoying.  I am on the DNC list, and will report the violation.  These people need to be fined!  But consider this: Who would EVER schedule a heating and air conditioning tune-up after being pestered by people like these?  They are driving away their own business!

I receive two or three calls a day and almost everyday of the week!  This is very annoying!  My phone only rings once or twice before I can pick up.  Then a recording comes on, which I've never listened to the entire message, so, therefore, I don't press 1 for this and 2 for that, I just hang up.  I wish whoever or whatever company this is would stop!  I'm going to report them to the BBB as some of the other messages I've read say that they are going to do the same! Good for all of us that report this company/person(s) maybe they'll be fined or caught for annoying and bothering people at all hours of the day, several times a day, and several days a week!

Got the call early this am.  They said they were helping people who use So. Cal Edison and PG&E and another Co. who's name I did not catch as the gal talked too fast? she said they help out low income seniors. She said she would like to set up an appointment to have my house checked out for  heat loss, etc., so they can tell how much how much help I qualify for and I jumped on her and said who the hell are you?  Are you PG&E.? If PG&E wants to do this they contact you by mail. Do you honestly think I am going to give you  any information to have a stranger enter my house for a supposed inspection?  I do not know you from Adam, and I am  on the no call list.  She hung up immediately after that.  Since it is a local phone number for me, I called it back, it rang once and a message machine said leave your number and we will call you back. I then hung up. I have received many many calls from this number, but was not at home when it came in, so it went to my message machine, but they never left a message. Since I was at home this time I decided to answer it. I am going to report this to PG&E, as they do have a program to help low income seniors, and also contacting my local Sheriff, as there are laws protecting solications of seniors.

This number has called me several times a day for months. Hangs up after three rings. It was creeping me out and making me mad.  I called the number back saying I was going to get the police involved, and they keep calling.  I did report to the Sheriff's office and will report to BBB and the do not call line as well.  This is illegal harassment.  Glad to know the name and location of this place to add to the reports.
