Call was from a person that barely spoke English.  Most likely Indian judging by the accent.  It was basically a scam where he told me there was a lawsuit against me and that I needed to get back with him right away.  This message was on my voice mail so I haven't spoken with them directly.

Same thing they get your information after trying to find a payday loan. Also called my work. Ask them to provide a case number and what court the "lawsuit" was filed and immediately hangs up. Called himself Officer David Adams. A scam for sure be warned they are persistent and very nasty.Continue to demand a case number and what court is filled in and they will leave you alone.

i got voice mail from this number and he was barely speaking english and telling me that he is calling from Dept of Federal Legislation ( I am not sure there is such a department?), i am involved in a legal issue and i need to contact him or my lawyer right away otherwise i am in big trouble.I am thinking it is a scam and wanted to share

Total hoax...happened after I got a payday loan...

He called me, could barely speak English, and told me I would have a charge against my name, and three criminal charges against my social security number. He continued to tell me that I needed to contact him immediately. I called the number back, and it seemed to be a dead end. I wouldn't answer phone calls like that, they could be charging you for the conversation. No thank you!

Just received three calls in a row. The first time, no one picked up, so I hung up. The second one, just a lot of noise in the background. Third one, I didn't answer. I'll put this in my "SCAM" contact so I know not to answer it.

They just called back again on my cell phone. This time, he said his name was "John Wyatt" or "John Wayne". When I demanded a case number and firm information, he continually said "Hello" like he couldn't hear me. I then told him that I knew there wasn't a lawsuit against me and that if he continued to call I would report him to our State's Attorney General.  He then said "Sorry Ma'am" and hung up. They've now called my office as well, and I will get in touch with the Attorney General if necessary - they're calling a State office!

This person just called me as well and left a voicemail. these people are persistant and very demanding. super annoying. they should deff be stopped. I received approx 9 missed calls in a matter of 5 hrs. I could literatlly punch this guy.

same i had a total of 20 missed calls from these people. I called back and told him there was a lawsuit against him for harassmant. I also stated that I am on the do not call list. If I see one more phone call from them that he will be arrested. He hung up. Then I  called back 50 times in a row just to piss him off.

Yeah i got a call like this too. he can't speak english very well. I know there is no lawsuit against me. They are very annoying.

I just got a call from same number some idiot w/Indian accent and tells me he has to talk to my lawyer and for me to call back.... today is Saturday and no freaked government office is open...

I got a harrasing phone call from people I didnt know tht claimed I owe money to an advance cash place, I didnt know what they were talking about, nd when I kept saying I didnt knw what they were talking about he got loud with me nd started yelling, threatning to call the police on,me. So I called them nd explained it to them nd they said its a total scam so nxt time they call back im gonna threatin them with the police.

Called saying I owed a debt and that I would be arrested. I haven't even taken any loans? Couldn't tell me who it was through or when the loan was taken. He barely spoke english. Plus he knows part of SS? Said he was an attorney not a debt collector and that I had one and fifteen minutes to pay the amount in full.

This person called my cell # and then my work # telling me I had a law suit against me and that I needed to call him now.  He would not tell me what it was about.  Dont do people that way if it is not true.  Jerks.

Yeah they said I had three lawsuits against me and that they represent the federal government and that I had a hour to pay them before the case got downloaded to the supreme court and he kept threatening me with arrest and that he had already signed my job termination papers. I called a friend and his parent talked to him (some like Indian jerk who called himself Chris Miller.) I guess he then threatened to arrest her to. I eventually figured out it was a scam and most of the things he claimed would happen don't make sense with hindsight.they really did cause me an emotional morning. They called on 9164159706 and this Chris guy who is the "head attorney" gave me 7145848764 to contact him. The one thing that doesn't add up is he was threatening me with arrest and then after having my friends parent talk to him I guess he said oh no more hour to pay the debt he's arrested and I got a call from an emergency number and it was some guy saying this is officer so and so I need to verify your address for ur arrest. I didn't verify it but when I click on details it says to call back the emergency number is 911. I'm just surprised how much he was threatening me and how he said they represented the fed. I mean he said unless I pay the debt with late fees and write an apolOgy I'd lose my social security, job, benefits, and not be able to leave the city or work for three years. These guys are dicks.

You forgot to tell him he has one hour to pay the "fine" before the case goes to court lol

this number 916-415-8706 but when i call it i dont get a answer and i cant thinkl of who this might be or if its a real number they left a voice mail stating that they represented a law firm.

i remember NOW they are con artist trying to get paid dont fall for it m ha ha this is so funny thank God for google and the internet you can find out any and evewry thing.lol
