Receive message about the web hosting expiry and if I call back there is no answer.

I received a SMS "dear customer your bulk hosting package has expired if you do notrenew today email/backup/database would be deleted. For renewal call 9164205280"

Looks like a scam to me

some [***] @ 9164205280 has sent this sms to my clients , I am preffering a complaint with cyber crime

i got the same msg - i tracked the number , its from karnataka.

I receive same message.. They are checking WHOIS registry for each domains & send sms to to domain owner about their renewals.. Dont know if they are collecting payments too.. Need to find proper channel to complain about this. They are from Banglore.

The SOB sent me a message saying if I dont renew, my website and email will STOP suddenly. This is full of crap.

SMS received from this no are totally fack. Some of my client received sms from this no. to renew domain and hosting account. with them. And cheated my clients. They are actully use whois information to get nos. of domain owners and send tham a cheat msg. My advised to all of readers not to answer any type of call or msg. without intimate you domain or hosting provider.

If you do the same your reg. will not take responcibility for that.

Beware of the Fake sms being sent from bulk sms account routed from karnataka IP

Content of the sms : " Dear customer, Your website & email would stop suddenly if you donot renew the domain. for renewal call on -9964650197
also other number -99644708397 , 9164205280"

When we called up from our number they refused to speak
when we called them from unknow number pretending to be a layman on domains , they were telling the company is cybercop-rather cyber checkers and were giving their bank details to immediately add funds.

Beware of this Cyber Crime

LM-NETCOP -> Fake Alerts for scamming & cheating.

There is one more number these SCAMMERS are using: 9243050187.

They seem to be cheating the people who have their websites running. They get the contact info simply from the CONTACT Page and then shoot the SMS Alert.

I called on 9243050187 and some lady picked up and informed me to pay Rs.2050 immediately. I was also informed that she will be sending the Bank details & Online Payment Method through email with more info about discounts for multiple years renewal done at once.

I would provide their bank details etc. here once they email me.

Please be aware of this fraud. Never respond to such SMS/Calls which ask you to pay. Always confirm & consult with your actual service provider & friends to avoid getting cheated.

Got message saying hosting package and mails will be terminated. To renew call them.

some one send sms as title LM-REMIND and ask to call on 9164205280 about our website and email id suddenly stop. this type sms and these people are lie and distrube   to persons. are we able to do some against these?

Are you sure the web url is correct. because when I called them they told me they are netcopr or something like that..

Whoever getting such message, call on 1909 from any mobile / landline and give your operator complain about that no. / clid i.e. LMREMIND

Please note your active complains only able to stop such sort of guys.
