Got the same phone number calls me at work few times a week, when i picked up the phone there's no answer on the other end, very disturbing...

This 916-468-0703 is magazine (sacbee or so) SALE people, that's what I heard from their voice message.

Collection companies are getting sneakier in attempts to collect past due accounts because so many people have gone past due or can't/aren't paying bills due to unemployment. If the number continues to annoy you either block it, or tag is as a Junk call and when it calls on your cell you'll know not to pick up. Besides, my cell is my business phone... they can using that number I tell them not to call me at work and hang up. That's my legal defense against annoying and harassing collection callers.
