A man with a foreign accent calls me and says he is from the States Attorney Office and he is call on behalf of George Belowski. He won't let me speak to Belowski himself nor would he give me any details of what I am being sued for. So he gives me Belowski's phone number and tells me he is waiting for my call. I call twice no one answers so I leave a message. The I type George Belowski's name into google and wow. Fraud, Scam and other things. I read other people's blogs and it helped me out alot. The man with the heavy accent calls back and I tell him off and tell him I'm going to report them. He hasn't called back since.

The same thing happened to me! I recently moved to CA, so I know this is bogus!!

I received the same message today that if I didn't call they would be using a warrant for my arrest..I tried calling no one answered....

SCAM SCAM SCAM - If you receive calls from these people (916) 469-8853 stay away don't be fool by these people they will have your complete information and will try to scam you for money.
Best thing to do is call all 3 credit agencies and advised them that your identity have been stolen, because most likely these people will sale your info to other parties.
When I first got a call from these people they scare the crap out of me because they had my complete info. I also got a call from them with the local police number listed on the caller ID stating that they have a warrant for my arrest. People police agencies do not call anyone once a warrant have been assigned. Best thing to do is hang up and don't answer if they call back.

This number begin calling today approximate 12pm today. My phone auto blocks numbers not in my contact. I have already reported this number as well.

Same here, this man with a heavy accent keeps calling non-stop at my place of work.  I googled this phone # and found out its a scam.  I told the man that he was calling a place of business and needs to stop calling or I will report him.  He called numerous times after that and still is calling!!

Calls and gives me my social security number and says I've commited fraud!

Nothing, you're not being sued. If you were being sued you would be served with a summons to appear, not a phone call from the state attorney’s office.

I was called several times on my cell phone and work phone from a man with a very heavy accent. He said he was from the state atty. office and gave me a case #. When I called I was really irate because they were calling my job. Several times!!!

I reported this male person who has a foreign accent, philipino or indian, 916. 469.8853 who calls & calls then I return the call & am hung up on. He states his name is Kevin Walker from the California State Attny Generals office. My sister just happens to work closely with the Ca AG's office, she says there is no Kevin Walker & this is a scam. Please report to the ca attnys office. Also, they call from random numbers across the USA, same guy, same voice/accent & claiming to be a debt collector.

A man with a foreign accent calls our office nonstop asking for someone who is not employed here. He accuses us of hiding this person and that he will be sending a sheriff to arrest us for concealing information about her whereabouts. As soon as one call ends he calls back. At one point we had multiple numbers across the USA calling and hanging up. This has happened on multiple occasions!

Everyone is correct, this is a complete scam. Do not give them any information over the phone.

Says that PayDay Loans is suing me for putting THE WRONG DATE on my application of when I get paid? Called me all day today and named my LOCAL SHERIFFS office and saying they were going to come today to ARREST ME!!!

I reported this number to Verizon.
