this number called me around 2:20pm March 22th, 2012

Called today, March 27, at 3:55 Central.  Left a silent voice mail message.  Unable to return the call.

I actually heard someone say "Hello, hello?" Then she hung up. I tried to call the number back, it doesn't ring...just goes to dead air.

This number just called me 1:20 pm pacific standard time...answered phone no-one there tried to call back and it will not ring.

I just called them back and got a recording.  It is a "customer satisfaction research organization" according to their recording.

This number just called me and did not leave a message.  11:25 PST on Monday May 7

Received a missed call from this number.  I called them back.  According to an answering message, they are an independent  survey group inquiring about a recent call I made.  A couple hours previously  I had  called the Customer Service department of my health insurance company.  I bet they are calling to get my opinion of the service I received from that call.

Its a customer satisfaction call from Blue Shield.

I just had the same experience you stated, so this is probably correct.

interesting to note that I also had recently placed a call to Blue Shield...I was called two hours after I had called Blue Shield.

Yep, it's Blue Shield. I was actually in the Dr's office when I received the call. I had just called them to find a dr. in my area

Like the others, no message left on voice mail, but I had called Blue Shield recently, so probably a satisfaction follow-up.

call from Blue Shield. I called Blue Shield Customer service earlier today.

First, the woman very softly says.. "hello"?  like she is trying to pretend she isn't in a call center calling from out of the country..  Then she asks to speak to the owner's wife by name.  When I asked what it was regarding, she said something about a customer survey.  I said no thanks, and asked to be taken off call list.  Don't answer.  It's not worth the 1.3 minutes they suck up in time.

I also spoke w/Blue Shield customer service today.  Did pick up phone, nor was a message left.
