- D coldwellthis phone number keeps calling me and its a solicitation of some kind of advertisement or something there's no way you can talk to anybody when I called you it just plays a recording and I want it stopped
- Caller: I don't know
- Jerry N| 1 replyThe caller spoke with Indian accent and stated that I have a problem for my Window computer. It is obvious a scam. I did not buy in with his trick and he exchange with Fxxx language. Just wonder how to block this call???
- ChrisI have received a few calls from this number. They never leave a message, and when I've tried to call back, it's silent for a while and then basically tells me the number I've dialed is incorrect. Whateves, I've blocked these a**holes. If they can't be bothered to leave a message, I can't be bothered to answer. :)
- Chris replies to Jerry NIf you have an iPhone, hit the small circle (it has an "i" in the middle of it) to the far right of the number you want to block. Scroll down until you see "block caller".
- AlyssaCalls me everyday while I am at work so I can never answer and ask them to take me off their list. I call back and it doesn't even ring
- ellaYeah they are not going to put you on a do-not-call list because it is a SCAM! He tried to tell me he was going to provide me with windows tech support and I told him I didn't need any tech support. When he started going on I hung up on him. Now to figure out how to block once and for all.
- Bonita SchaalI keep getting calls from this number but never answer and they never leave a message. Frustrating!
- Caller: ???
- lphThese people have called a number of times saying they are Windows Support. They have a foreign accent.
I have asked, told, screamed at them to take my number off their list. The last time I told them I now have their number
and I knew they were scammers and I would be reporting them to the FBI.- Caller: Windows support.
- DavidCalled my cell. Did not answer. No message.
- KahniRemove me from your call list. Do not want anything you have and you sure don't want my [***]!
- Law Offices| 1 replyThey have called this commercial business (law office) many times. They actually spoke to someone once in our tech office when they said they had a technical problem with our computers, and when they were asked what type of system we have here, what type of operating platform we use, or what our ip address is, they knew nothing. It is a scam. They are now blocked.
- SKS replies to Law OfficesI've received multiple calls from these people. Last time, I played along; honestly, it was rather fun. Then I completely called him out on absolutely everything and told them to take me off of whatever calling list they have me on. I also blocked the number, as well as placed our numbers on the 'Do Not Call List'. However, I received yet another call today, from a different number from the 917 area code. So, of course, I played along again - this time for 15 minutes. He wanted me to do CTRL, Windows, R on my computer and I kept telling him that nothing popped up ... and truthfully it didn't, b/c we have Macs which is even funnier. He then told me to go to Start, Run, and type in 'eventvwr'. That's when I began the ask questions: how do you know I'm getting errors? We receive a report from your computer from Windows (lol) What company are you with? He was fumbling thru that and 'tried' to give me their website address - I stopped writing it down, b/c it was like word vomit. Ok, what is my ip address? Ma'am I assure you, I'm not going into your computer! Let me try again...WHAT is MY ip address? One moment......it's xxxxxxxxx Nope, try again. Oh well, we are having trouble on our side. Well, then you should also be having trouble seeing my errors then, right? Uh yeah. So, what is your ip address? 192.168.1.88 hhhmmmm, really? That's just a general ip address; I mean since you are an IT Tech Specialist and all, you should know how and where to find your ip address. Oh and you did give me the ip address the last time we spoke, which was in GERMANY! Oh and by the way, WE HAVE A MAC DUMB@$$! Oh and you did mention your supervisor earlier, may I speak with her? Waited one minute, then, yep, dead silence. aaahhhhhhhh, well that was fun.
- JayCalling today and yesterday no message and when I call back it says "unable to complete call"

- JLThis company has called me over 13 times to say that my Windows computer is infected with a virus and they want me to type some stuff on my keyboard to get rid of it. I keep telling them that I don't own a Windows computer and ask that they stop. But they won't and the last person I spoke to said they will NOT stop calling me! It has become harassment at this point.
- JC From TX917 200 9422. That is the number where I got a call from some tech support company reporting that my computer has a virus and their server has picked up that. I asked the guy (indian like accent) about the specific URL or ip address for his server and he kept following his script that a Windows server has a problem. When I told him that he did not what %*5# he was talking about he hung up.
- ramHe called my home number several times. My wife simply denied she is not familiar with computer talk to my husband.
He called on Friday(Halloween). I answered saying may I who is this. There is no reply from other end. He hung up.
I tried calling back his number. I keep getting no answer.
On Saturday he calls again, Name shows up as 'John Evaston'. He said his name is John Taylor. He is calling from v-techs nevada. They provide authorized service for Microsoft. He told me he is noticing numerous errors from my computer he asked me to event viewer and services for errors. He convinced me that I have errors on my computer. Now he wants permission to get into my computer then I asked him to call me back in 15 mins. Mean while I called my office tech for his opinion he advised me that it is a scam. Microsoft will never authorized to call like that. It is scam. simply deny it.
After 15 mins. John calls again, I respectfully said I do not want him to get into my pc. He asked what made you change your mind. I said one of my colleague advised me not pursue with you any more. Then he said we are not a scam talk to my seniors etc. Then simply hang up.
My advise is never ever let any body get into your computer.- Caller: individual John Evaston
