Have received several calls this week.  No one speaks when we answer.

Got a call this afternoon from 917-213-2179. I'm on the Do Not Call list.

I am on the no call list & they are trying to sell prescription drugs..I am really annoyed with all the phone calls. On the  White  pages to look up phone numbers they have our age listed now. Are they getting this info from Medicare,Social Security file or just where.

I've received four calls from this number this week.  They ask for Eric.  When I say there's no Eric here they verify my phone number.  When I tell them they have it right but there is no Eric here they ask me if I am interested in information about perscrition drugs.

I get called by this number constantly, at all times of day.  No one ever says anything.

i have been getting calls from this number every day for three weeks now. when i pick up no one answers. how do i reach them and ask them to stop calling??? any suggestion will be highly appreciated

I received a call from this number on March 14th, 2008. I tried dailing it back on 16 March, and got a "not in service" message.

I just called this number and it's not in service.

I just got a call from this number and on my caller ID it said it was from PATEL PRAGNA who is this place or person I do not know of anyone like that

I got several calls from this number too and whenever I answered it is was dead.  I think this is pretty common in telemarketing now, there is a machine that dials several numbers at once, and then the first one to pick up gets connected to an operator.  If you try calling the number back you will get some sort of error message about the subscriber not being available.  Finally after about ten tries, I answered the phone quick enough, and I talked to a guy who said he was an online pharaceutical company based in India.  I just told him that I wasn't on any medication and he politely told me to have  anice day.  Since then I have receiveed several more calls, but never answer in time.  Next time I have to remember to ask to be taken off their list.  I will update if I am connected again.

I have been receiving these calls repeatedly... They are starting to call 5 times in a row. Absolutely ridiculous...I don't have any idea who it is but I'm trying to figure out how they got my cell phone number. All I know is that 917 is a New York area code.

I am getting calls two or three times a day from this number.  I have called it and I am told the number is no longer in service.  I have now added the number to my contacts in my cell and gave it a no ringtone so I am not woken up in the middle of night by whoever it is.

Man, this guy is pissing a lot of people off. I just answer talking in spanish and he hung up, then he calls right back!

Today, the caller deviated from calling me at home to my cell phone.  Initially, it appeared to be a computerized call with no one at the other end as though they were testing the line.  Today was the first time I actually spoke to someone representing themselves from an Internat'l marketing firm from India ( NY area code) inquiring on Rx drugs.

I did not answer, as I did not recognize this number.  The caller meowed twice then hung up!  Yes, the caller MEOWED.

I just received my 1st call from 917-213-2170. I was lucky & spoke to a person named Ari. She said the name of her company was International Drug Mart (800-552-5146) & asked if I was interested in ordering prescription drugs. I told her I worked for a large healthcare organization & would never order meds over the phone from an unsolicited source. I asked her how she got my number & she said I had done business with them in the past. I told her that wasn't true & to remove my number from their database. She seemed surprised & stated, "you don't want us to call you anymore". I told her do not call me & if they did, I would report them to the NC Consumer Protection Division of the Attorney General's Office. Let's see if that works.

I keep getting the same kind of phone call and I am tired of it. What can we do.
