Received a call Thursday, July 10, 4:42pm.  Pressed "1" as directed and spoke with Charlotte.  I indicated I asked them at least three times to have my name/number removed from call list and indicated I had reported them for a “Do Not Call” violation.  I then asked again to have my name removed from the call list.  Her response was "are you requesting or demanding?”  By this time, I was so annoyed my response was  “I’m doing both.”  She replyed, “If you’re demanding, I’m not going to remove you from the call list .. have a nice day” and then she had the nerve to hang up on me!

I received a call from 917-255-7015 on 7-11-12 at 10:45 AM.  I asked the lady how I could get
off their call list and she replied by asking how much was being carried on my credit card.  I told her it made no difference what was  being carried on my card, that I just wanted to be removed from their call list.  She hung up without another word.

If you're on the do not call list for your state then you should make every effort to report them especially after that woman's comment to you.  Be sure to indicate in your complaint that you were contacted three times and all three times told them to remove your name.

Received a call from this number listed as "New York Call." Recording said this was my "final notice" -- I wish! -- and something about lowering credit interest... something like that. I can't say for sure because I tuned out the sales pitch and just listened for an "if you wish to be removed from our call list" option. Of course no option was offered. I called and reported them to the Do Not Call Registry (1-888-382-1222) and suggest everyone else do the same.

I just received yet another call from this number. I have pressed the option to be removed from the call list so many times I have lost count so I decided to press option one and speak to someone. I do not recommend it. The guy I got used extremely vulgar language when I told him to quit calling or I would report him to the Do Not Call Registry. I am pretty tough, but I have never heard anyone speak like this guy. I reported them to the Do Not Call Registry and put what this guy said to me word for word in my complaint.

    Spoof Calls
This is a spoof. These people are trying to pry info from you to rob your bank account.
The Government is not stopping this activity.
SCAMS that create a phony caller ID and the identity on your Caller ID is fake.
If you have caller ID never answer the phone.

On 7/16/12 I rec'd call from this number. It was a recording from a company regarding my credit card. I don't have a credit card. I have rec'd numerous calls from this number and others like it.
So, today, I pressed "0" several times in hopes of getting a person to speak to. It worked. I told him that I didn't have a credit and I wanted to know what I could do to get them to stop calling me. He said, "Go into a dark corner and touch your pu**y." He promptly hung up.
I called the number back immediately only to be told the number was not in service.
    I called the police.

I have received many calls telling me they can lower my credit card rate. I usually hang up. Twice, I told them not to call again. The first time a man said something I couldn't understand and hung up. The second time, on 7/18/12, a woman said, "You are an idiot" and hung up.

get call from them about every two or three days.  I always ask for a number to call them back, but they never give me.  usually they hand up.  have reported to do not call many times, but i dont think the do not call registry does anything at this time.

Got a call from 917-255-7015, which is a cell phone, by the way.  Why are you calling from a cell phone to begin with?  I could hear others talking in the background.  Card Member Services, as they call themselves, wanting information about my credit card accounts in an effort to lower my interest rates.  They ask personal questions like DOB, credit card numbers, etc.  Are you kidding me?  I am reporting this to the BBB as well as my local  police department.

Turning them into donotcall.gov is futile!! That seems to make the SPAM calls WORSE!!
I have found a couple of techniques that seem to work and has made them call LESS FREQUENTLY!! Sometimes we activate the TALK button and then feverishly start pressing buttons on the phone. Those pesky auto calls are tricked into thinking they've called a FAX number. (OR) Just press the talk button and "be very, very quiet". Don't say anything and just listen. They will disconnect fairly quickly and they don't seem to call back as often.  My SPAM calls have been greatly reduced using these two methods.
