917-310-1313

Call came from a person who claimed that the IRS was going to file a claim unless I responded to 917-310-1313.
First of all, the IRS communicates by letter or Email.  If they have a legitimate claim then they will provide significant details, in writing.  They will allow you an opportunity to respond.  This call is a scam and if returned will probably result in a request for "immediate payment" for some undisclosed reason.  Just delete the message or hang up on the phone call.

I called him back and told him to get [***] in the ass with an AIDS infected camels dick.

It's not the IRS. It's a scam. Don't return the call.

I got one of those phoney IRS scam phone calls yesterday. They told me that I needed to call  917-310-1313 to settle up with the IRS before they siezed my house cars and bank accounts.

So i decided to have a little fun.

Some guy answered with British sounding English.  "This is the Internal Revenue Service"

I said," This is agent Beckham with the IRS Investigative Services.  We have your building surrounded. and we are ordering everyone in the building to come out the front door with your hands up. Interpol and Scotland Yard are also part of this arrest."

He hung up and when I tried to call back his number again he had blocked my number.

What sounded like a call-bot left a message on our answering machine that "this is the final notification that the IRS is filing law suit against you. To get more information about this case, please call our department office at 917-310-1313."

I just got a message on my home answering machine, semi-official sounding but definitely a mechanical-prerecorded voice, stating that the call was from the IRS and that this was the final notice before they would initiate immediate legal action and to call 917 310-1313 immediately. It gave my husband a scare, but having investigated this bogus caller before, I assured him it was a complete and udder scam.
I called the number back because I wanted SO BADLY to completely mess with them!!!!
Ugh...after several tries, the line was busy and then on the fourth attempt, they didn't answer. Gave it another try and got an Indian-sounding voice and started messing with him. He ended up calling me a [***] (twice!). When I asked to speak to his superior he hung up on me and didn't answer again.
This is COMPLETELY false!!! Now wondering if they can get in big trouble for impersonating a government agency-????
