- RaphaelCalled twice. First was silent, second, a man said he was "John Sina" then when I asked him to repeat, he replied "John Patrick". Me: "You are contradicting yourself, tell me who you are and who you represent". Him: "John Patrick Sina of Microsoft". He spoke with an Indian sub continent accent. The number is false, and I knew straight away this was yet another computer scammer. This is becoming an all too common event. My reply: "No, you're a scammer, so sod off" and I hung up. Message to phone service provider: please cut off and blacklist.
- Caller: "Microsoft" (in quotations because almost certainly false)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- LFThis person has called from numerous phone numbers, I can recognize his voice on my answering machine.Sometimes he just says hello, hello, then sometimes he says my first name. He has an Indish sounding accent. He never leaves a message, if he was legit, he would leave a message. I never answer it, in hopes they will stop calling.
- Annoyed in NCGot a call from this # @ approximately 3:35PM EDST. Screen showed "New York Call". No one said anything, so I hung up. Think it was probably a scam call. Why can't the telephone companies give us a way to block these calls?
- Caller: Unknown
- EstherI have now had 8 calls from this #Twice a day. I told him he is a scam I do not have a computer but he wants to know why I think he is a scam??? Go figure. What can we do to stop this crap from happening short of shutting off our phones!!!He has all of the above sayings from other people.Foreign sounding voice like all scamers do.
- Call type: Telemarketer

- Frustrated by nuisance phone callsconstantly getting phone calls from this number! very frustrating! Our number is supposed to be on the Do Not Call system. I guess that doesn't work either. Maybe time to remove home phone!
- Al CaponeJust got a call from "Jeeeeeeme". Call coming from a call center in India. Jeeeeeeme said he was from Mirosoft and that I had big problem with my computer. I said listen Babu...... take some notes and I proceeded to call him every curse word I know (quite a few). He hung up on me. I felt really good about it. I agree that the phone company should give us a free way to eliminate calls like this from scam numbers.....
- Caller: Indian scammer
- JulieMy friend, who knows nothing about her computer, has received 2-4 calls a day from this number for 5 days. First it was a woman, she couldn't understand her accent and my friend hung up. She finally answered again today and it was a guy with same type of accent. She could barely understand him, but he told her to press some keys on her keyboard. She did at first, but couldn't follow along with him. She finally told him to not call her again and hung up. The number called again 2 hours later. I told heritage to be a scam, never "press keys" on your keyboard, and I told her to call the sheriff's office to report it. Calls came on her home phone. What happened to the "Do Not Call" list the government put in place years ago? She could really have been hacked.
- KThis number called most every weeknight for the last 2 wks - no message left and when we p/u dead air - stinks!
- Caller: ?????
- Call type: Survey
- BillGot a call from this number at about 12:45 pm on Thursday. Male-sounding caller had heavy Asian Indian accent. I couldn't understand him other than he was calling from the "Microsoft IT department of my computer". I asked if he was in India, "yes", I said did he know that he was working for a company that was trying to scam people out of their money? No reply, he just hung-up. I looked up the area code: New York City five boroughs. I called the number and got a Verizon Wireless recorded message that it was a discontinued number.
- Caller: Microsoft
- SherryThis number keeps calling. Only heavy breathing!
- Call type: Prank
- eldred202012Got another call from "Thomas" tonight about my MSFT problems. Played along for a few minutes and then got profane about him and his family. Got 6 calls back within 10 minutes. Maybe we have a sore point and a defense.
- Tony ThomasI have told these people to stop calling multiple times!
- Caller: KM INFO SERVE Colorado Street Denver,Colorado
- Hope S.I get calls regularly from this number and its always the same Indian man using the Microsoft scam and like others uve just discovered, when you try to call the number back it is a Verizon recording saying that the number is no longer valid. How do they mange to get assigned a phone number that helps hide who they are? And why are they allowed to continue with this scam after all of the complaints about what they are up to? What is this country coming to when known liers and con artists are allowed to continue HARRASSING innocent people on a regular basis and apparently whatever official body that is supposed to handle this type of thing just doesn't care! Its no wonder our country is in the mess its in when this obvious sxsm is common knowledge and allowed to keep happening.
