Some crackpot threatening a lawsuit scam.

Seems like a scam. Threatening some kind of bogus legal action, but of course they're really vague about it, and won't tell you anything until you give them credit card info.

Its a scam...same crap, same line....so tired of these.  :(

Riser Bank? threatening to file criminal charges about something.

Howard Steiner & assoc,  Woman named Cheryl Rogers saying I owed Rise credit for a loan I never took out.  Threatening criminal charges for fraud.  When I asked for details of the supposed loan, like the name of the branch I supposedly borrowed from and the date of the loan she was very vague and stated that all information was sealed in a court envelope that she could not legally open to read.

Once again received a call from Ms. Roger's from Howard Sterner Associates  from 918-201-2022 and left messages saying someone file an complaint again me.I call back and left messages asking for there address so that I could contact the Attorney General Office.

Just talked to my local Attorney General office, and she said it was a scam.  To tell them you know it's a scam and to stop calling and then don't answer when they call and don't return any.  Hope this helps.  Also, FBI had a website,  www.IC3.gov to report this kind of stuff as well.

Agreed - Won't stop calling - calls every day same time but never says who the message is for or what number they are dialing. Has to be a scam from someone calling themselves Sharon Rodgers from Howard Steiner and Associates with a complaint. Google Does not find a law firm under this name in the USA only similar names of dentist office and doctors offices and real estate offices.

Calling me, got scared stupid, gave my credit card info and docusign now saying I'm obligated to pay but now you say its a scam but how they get your info!!

Rec'd a call advising a complaint had been filed against me and wanted to know who my attorney was. After a couple of questions the male caller threatoned move forward with a bogus lawsuit against me.
