- orange, ctI rec'd a call about 1pm 12-28-10, the msg started mid-stream and offered to lower my interest rates, since I didn't get to hear the beginning I had no idea it was for a credit card until I read these posts here.
I cld them back from work to try and get off their do not call list by pressing "1". Once I did that I was hung up on.- Caller: service message
- karen in tx| 1 replyRobocalls like this need to be reported to the FTC! They violate the National Do Not Call list & it's easy to file an online complaint. The live rep I was transferred to (Kelly) said she was in a huge call center in Orlando. Gave the address as4286 Quadrangle Dr/Orlando/FL/32806.
Report these scumbags to the FTC!
Do NOT give them any personal information!- Caller: Service Message (bs)

- Dan in Texas replies to karen in txReceived the same call today. Had one about 2 weeks ago. If you want to complain, as I just did, do so with the FCC (not the FTC), here: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
Don't forget to put your number on the Do Not Call Registry:
https://www.donotcall.gov/ - Leah in Texas| 1 replyComplain all you want, it will do no good since these scammers are all offshore. They keep doing it because it's worth their while - and it will always be worth their while as long as idiots keep falling for their con games.
- Concerned replies to Leah in TexasYou are so right. But how is someone to know when a call is a scam or not, especially the first time call?
- wgCalled and left message to lower interest rates. I figured it was a scam so I didnot return the call.
- Caller: service messaging
- Catherine Hooversounds like a great deal to lower my interest rates on credit cards, but when I began to question why they would voluntarily lower my interest rates when my own CC would not do it for me, ...
