I answered call, but no one said anything - probably because they had called a business, rather than residential number. Most likely a telemarketer.

This was an automated telemarketing recording selling home security systems.  They stated they were going to be in my neighborhood soon and would give me a free home security system if I would let them put a sign in my yard.  I pushed the number to talk to the "operator."  When she came on she was very unfriendly.  I asked politely for her to please put me on the DNC list and instead she hung up on me.

This company keeps calling you in hopes that you will call them back to hear their sales pitch on home security alarms. They say hit one to be removed, but it may take up to 72 business hours. I've gotten about 10 calls from them, after I pressed 1 about 2 days ago.

They are trying to get around the do not call list rules.

This number has called me more then enough within the last two weeks. I have received up to 5 calls a day starting anywheres from 7 in the morning to 9 or 10 at night. Every time I answer there is no one there, and then the phone is disconnected. When I call back with my house phone, the number that they keep calling, it says that its no longer in service. When I call the number from my cell phone it says "thank you for calling back" and some other stuff but it never says who they are. It then procedes to say that if I want them to stop calling me I have to press one. But when I do that it doesn't give me the option to enter a number it just disconnects the phone. I have no idea who this is, but I am going to contact the BBB hopefully they can do something to help me and evertony else out.
