Robo spammer

Called my cell today.  I did not answer - they left no message.
I get too many calls from these scammers.

I'm so tired of these calls.  I read somewhere to add unwanted call phone numbers to my contacts and under name enter DO NOT ANSWER.  They still call but but I never answer and hopefully they will stop after a while if their calls never get answered.  It works for me.

Since these people are not a real company and it is a scam, they do not pay attention to the Do Not Call list.   I started getting these calls 2 years ago and was getting up to 2 calls a week for a while when ignoring them.   The best way I have found to deal with them is to CUSS THEM OUT BIG TIME.   These low life pieces of crap are scammers.  Ever since I have started cussing them out, the calls have been less and less frequent.  And it gets a lot of frustration out.

EVERYONE should be reporting them. It is important to keep up the pressure even though nothing seems to be getting done, or else the government will just sit back and claim they are doing a good job since there are fewer complaints. These criminals need to be charged with FEDERAL FELONIES and subjected to significant prison time. Since this is an obvious attempt at identity theft the FBI should be forced to get involved. Charge them with a CRIMINAL offense and throw them in prison (Prosecute them in criminal court instead of civil penalties).

Just got a call from this number on my cell; ID showed "Oklahoma caller. I didn't answer; no message left. I'm sure it's another scam robocall, and I'm really ticked off that they're wasting my cell time and on top of that, I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE MINUTES USED. If the government is spying on all of us and monitoring OUR calls, why can't they do something about these lowlifes?????

Same bunch of scumbag criminals that our government has failed to stop.  The Do Not Call Registry is a joke.

I wish these people would quit calling my cell phone.  Phone rings....no one there and no message!

Didn't leave a message. First time I've seen a call from OK. Worthless, scumbag, low-lifes. Get a real job, stop bothering those of us who have to work.

I chatted with Verizon & told them My most recent incoming call was this number & I want to know who that is...
The kid on chat said - I googled that number (are u kidding????)I ignored them for a long while, but now they are calling during working hours.  I answered to hear an automated message about my credit rate.  I ignored them some more.  But yesterday they disrupted a meeting.  I hung up & they called back so I stepped out to answer it.  I took the #1 key and got a woman - I said politely "This number is on the Do-Not-Call List and ..." she hung upon me.
This has happened more than once, more than twice - less than 10 times.
So today I also answered and let the woman go on for just a bit & then said, "This number is on the Do-Not-Call List and I dont want you to call me anymore"
She said "This isn't a telemarketing, we are a credit bureau (or something credit)
I said, "I've tried to get the calls to stop before but got hung up on.
She said "IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE DISRESPECTFUL B!TCH, WE WONT STOP CALLING YOU!" and hung up.
When I call back I get a recording - VERIZON says the cant do anything more than block them.

So FCC - what does that mean?  Dont answer & dont call back?
Should we just shut up & take it?  Are we to wait to get help from you?
I will report - but I have little faith in these guys...

Make up a new contact called "SPAM", or whatever you want to call it, and add these types of numbers to it. Then send it to voice mail if they ever call back.  Or set it up to automatically to send it to voice mail.  I now have 13 numbers entered into this one contact.

I complained to Verizon and I was told the same excuse. A friend of mine works for Verizon and he told me that Verizon sells these scammers the software to spoof their phone numbers. He suggested that you call Verizon back and complain while letting them know that you are aware they sell or lease the technology to these scammers to call us. I did and they blocked the number for 120 days. Apparently Verizon makes a lot of money from this software.
