- Disgruntled replies to tkatyThis number has called my cell phone and both of my jobs. The guys name is Roger and says that he's with the law office of the state of North Carolina. My managers told him that he needs to stop calling and roger cursed him out and told my boss that he's going to hunt me down until I die. The number is based out of Apex, NC. I called the Apex police department and they said that no such business exists. They also said that quite a few people have called about these people. It's a definite scam.
- TB| 7 repliesi kept calling for an hour once and this adrian walker guy begged me to stop calling. Even though they don't answer, it still ties up their phone lines and they have to keep picking up the phone and hanging it up. If you have the android market on your phone you can download an app called Call Scheduler that dials phone numbers up to 999 times back to back without stopping and you can set the call length on it. I plan to use it from the time their phone lines open till they close mon- fri until they leave me alone. Harassing them is the only course of action it seems that we can possible take because our local agencies can't do much, since these people are most likely in India somewhere using prepaid phones and phony numbers which are easy to get. Also report them to the FCC, Federal Trade Comission, FBI, Attorney General, and any other agency you can think of. You might also want to put a fraud alert on your accounts with Equifax, Transunion, and Experian as these people have too much of your personal information.
- ThinkAboutIt replies to TB| 6 repliesJust make sure when you're using the call scheduler that the number your dialing isn't premium-rate, that you are contacting the scammer and not a spoofed number belonging to an innocent party, or that you aren't being charged for dialing in the first place. You could end up with a hefty phone bill or get sued for harassment. Even if you were calling during nights and weekends when the calls were free, I don't think your service provider would appreciate you using your phone to send out 999 calls to one number. They could cancel your account and maybe even press charges against you if they were implicated because of your actions. They would have records of the calls which they could use against you in court.
You're better off searching the Android Market for a call-blocker. There are a lot of free ones available and unlike your idea will keep you out of hot water. - TB replies to ThinkAboutIt| 1 replyIt is definitely them because it is the number they gave me to contact them and when I called back I reached the same Indian Guy Adrian Walker who has been harassing me. I have an unlimited data plan on my phone through a pay as you go company
- TB replies to ThinkAboutIt| 3 repliesAlso before I started calling them back to back like that, the first few times i called the number it was them because they told me all the same stuff about trying to get me to pay them money and fax a letter to them stating that I authorize them to withdraw money from my accounts
- ThinkAboutIt replies to TB| 2 repliesWhen you called them, did you check your pre-paid credit to make sure it wasn't being deducted? Also, were you able to verify their address, so you would know what time to call them? If you're calling them after hours, it's not going to do much good. So far as that goes, it still sounds like a hit-or-miss proposition.
- Tb replies to ThinkAboutIt| 1 replyWasnt able to get an address but they always call me between 8am an630pm eastern standard. They would pick and get mad and say the same abusive crap. And other times you can hear them pick up the phone and hang up. One time they answered and play some kind of foreign style music. After 2hrs it just stopped ringing. I have an unlimited plsn with a pay as you go company.
- Tb replies to TbI meant to say between 830am and 630 pm est.

- mrad1974 replies to rolandoI'm in the same situation - keep blowing up my cell phone with texts. Driving me crazy!!! If there's a way to stop it, I'd love to know!!
- KirsThey keep texting me, too from different phone numbers consisting of four digits.
The message reads:
"kqus@midwest02.com / pls call / FirstMidweastMessage02 - Please call (919).-249.5382."
I got about 58 texts in half an hour, and I'm still in the process of deleting all of them, but more keep coming. Haven't gotten any phone calls, but I have a sneaking suspicion that is has something to do with the website 1-800-flowers.com because I signed up with them last night, and I believe I gave my phone number. I could be mistaken, but I haven't given my phone number out to anyone in the last 24 hours, otherwise.- Call type: Text message
- Serena replies to rolando| 8 repliesToday, 1/27/11 at 3:30 pm, I received over 80 texts from this email kqus@miswest02.com
I contacted T-Mob. Make sure you ask for technical services, the customer services reps don't know crap about this. They told me to forward the text to 7726 (that's T-Mob's spam). When 7726 responds you put in the spammer's # or email, whichever # they're contacting you from.
The tech service representative at T-Mob also told me to go on a computer and log into my T-Mob acct. At the top, click on Mobile Life, click on email and text tools, click on Create e-mail filters, click on create filter, from the drop menu click FROM, drop menu CONTAINS, put in the email address/phone # they're texting you from, drop menu DO NOT SEND TO HANDSET AND DO NOT FORWARD.
I did this and the text immediately stopped.
Hope this helps. - angrystop sending me tx msgs
