This is a collector who asked for someone else, address not known.  When the unidentified person was told that no one by that name was at my number, he hung up.  There have been numerous calls, 4 - 6 x per month from these guys.  An associated number 855 673-6836.  The firm name is not given.

I got a call from Vera Ingrim from this number, I did not answer, listen to message, this call is for______ regarding a summons and if not found at work or residence , failure to appear person be found guilty call 877-635--1692 good luck

We have received numerous calls from 919-439-9999.  They say they are looking for my stepson and a complaint has been filed against him.  If he does not respond call 877-865-6219, he will be taken to court.  They will show up at his place of employment, home or any other address they have to serve him with court documents.  They even went so far as to give a case number.  We have told them we have no contact and do not know where he is, but he has never lived or been to our home.  After today's call, I called the number back and informed them that all harassing phones calls need to stop and there is no one here by that name.  I also informed them that I have called the FTC and reported them as harassing and a scam.  With that they got angry and hung up on me.  There really need to be laws against this kind of harassment! This is a scam from a debt collector trying to collect on old debts that are no longer collectible or have been paid off.

Got 2 calls today nine minutes apart (8:40 am & 8:49 am Picific Standard Time) from a "Steven Bundy" at 919-439-9999 who left the same exact message for husband stating that he's a personal locator from the "Federal Mediation Office."  He said that if my husband did not call back "Mr. Bundy" @ 888-447-8286 within 24 hours that "criminal charges would be filed against him" and that "he would be summoned to appear in court."  By the way, my husband's mom got called today around noon with the same message.  Last summer I got a similiar call stating I would receive a summons at my home if I didn't call back within 48 hours.  Guess what?  Nobody ever showed up at my house to give me that summons.  I am thinking about reporting this to the FTC.  The hard part is reporting companies who hide who they are.  This is possibly a debt collector who doesn't follow the FTC rules or a scam.

I got the same call earlier today they even went as far as having someone call saying they were officer Mcallister from the police dep do when I called the police dept they had no knowledge of this officer & whoever called spoofed the number for another county the I got another call just 30 mins ago telling me i was being served if i didnt pay the amount so i told him i would have my lawyer contact him he gets mad with me & hangs up I'm really sick of these calls bc its harrassment & Ive spoken with a deputy & my lawyer

Do NOT speak to this lunatic stalker criminal extortionist He has the nerve to impersonate police officers and does indeed spoof sheriff's department phone numbers. If anyone finds him please post because the police need to get this psycho

Bundy is a well know scam artist. Be advised, local, state, federal officials will NOT contact you by phone regarding a criminal complaint!! Disregard any calls received from this wing nut.

Authorities believe Helms has been using a number of false identities with the help of different driver’s licenses, and he also is accused of stealing the identity of Senior Special Agent Steve Bundy with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, the agent leading the search for Helms.

This number is associated with The Fargo service. I will use the information to file a complaint with FTC and local Law

My phone rang at 1:30 int the morning FROM 919-439-9999 - I panicked thinking it was a family member in trouble.  Never left a message.  Now I feel I need to shut off my phone at night..  Who calls in the middle of might?  Does it originate from overseas?

Call from 919-439-9999. As to call back on 866-807-8339. Wanted to talk before they filed with the clerk of the court. Did not make it clear what they had that they would file.

Got a call from 919-439-9999 at 2:36 AM!! Isn't this illegal?? Who can I contact to report them?

I never get calls on my cell other than contacts. I only answered this one because I didn't have my glasses on at the time. A recorded message asked me to call a number back about a lost prepaid credit card  which I do not have anyway. Obviously a scam but how did they get my cell number as I am on the "do not call" list

These idiots called my cell phone at 1:38 this morning. No person or recording when I answered, just background noise. I reported them to DO NOT CALL for what it's worth.

Received a call around 1230 this morning, no message left. Thought at first i was dreaming after reading through the comments, guess i wasn't.

Got a call on my cell phone from this # tonight at 8:35pm. I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. I'm on do not call list (recently double checked that) - and they did not leave a message.  If they call again, tempted to answer to see what they say...

Side note: in the comments, it says this company is based in NY, but the area code is NC (Raleigh area to the coast) - I'm in NC, with family in that area code, so I almost answered it because of that.

I just received a call from this number. The female on the other end requested me by name and after stating she had some type of summons or order that could be filed with the court she wanted to then verify my personal information such as birth date, address; etc.. I informed her that since she called me I would do no such thing because I'm not aware of who she is, where she is calling from and as I'm not a criminal there should be no outstanding matters against me. After she repeated herself I told her that if there's any legal matters filed against me once I'm served, it would be settled through court system with my lawyer. She then hung I'll the phone. I researched the number, finding this report and attempted to call them back to inform them that I will file complaints against their operation & a Verizon prompt said the ”number has been changed, disconnected or is no longer I service”...#scam.

Same group, vile individuals, asking about someone who I only know by association but have never met or had contact with. Somewhere back east. When I refused to be mean or lose my temper this person tried to goad me into becoming so and was surprised that I would not, and called me weak. Of course they threatened the legal action stuff which I ignored. For those who need to know the numbers used are 919-439-9999 (caller ID says Cary NC) which is a dead number when you try to call back. And 888-445 5452 on the voicemail.

The number you are all talking about 919-439-9999  is not the number of the person calling you but from a company that you can have your real number forward too. I have a phone number that i don't use but wanted it to be forwarded to my cell cost $10 a month. Its a transferred number 919-439-999 Im guessing scammers must use this so they cant be traced.
