This number called and said they were IRS and i was being sued. I got a call yesterday from a different number saying I was being sued by the IRS and so I called the number back and asked for their ID number which he rambled off a number. I told him to hang as I was putting a trace on this number, which he immediately hung up. This person I talked to yesterday was a foreigner and he could not speak English very well at all. He wanted my name and number and address. THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

I have gotten the same call today. I thought it was a scam right off but it still shakes you up to hear a lawsuit has been filed against you by the IRS! The caller
ID read Massachusetts and when I googled it, saw it is a NC prefix. Report these calls if you can and never give out personal information ever.

got a call from this number today saying, .....please call immidietely, this call is from the DEPARTMENT. , department of what i thought lmao!.......

A recorded message claiming the IRS has a warrant for my arrest...

SCAM! Received this call today as well. Claiming they were from the IRS and there was a pending lawsuit against me.

Someone keeps calling me from this phone number, I am not sure if I should call them back to see what it is this about.

I received a call today saying I was being sued by the IRS and there is a warrant for my arrest. They called me at 5:35am. Scam all the way.

Good to know. I have received this same phone call a few times. After calling them back they ask for name and last 4 digits of SS
I did not give any info- obviously a scam.  Not sure who to report this too

Got multiple calls from this number, 919-690-9409, over the last five days. The automated woman's voice in a authoritarian tone expresses the "...call is urgent because the IRS is about to sue me...". IT'S A SCAM...don't fall for it...
Does the IRS/FBI know this is happening in such a widespread method...some people get scared enough that they fall for it...

Got two calls from this number today both leaving messages I am being sued by the irs. Tried calling back but goes to busy tone. They definitely don't want to get me on the line.
