They say to call this no for federal complaint

The caller ID on my cell phone registered this as 911 but when I listened to the voicemail, the call back number is for "David Cooper" with the Sheriff's Department in Tate, Louisiana and that I have a federal issue that I must call in and discuss or they will contact my employer and home.  I have received calls like this in the past and they are always bogus attempts to collect information.  I will not return the call.

I was very shocked to become part of this scam...i was contacted this morning. An emergency call first came through and stated that there was afederal compaint and to contact the officer in charge of a pending case. The 919.714.0101 was given to me to contact immediately. The man by the name of Johnathan Cooper was very bold and did not allow me to ask any question...when I return more firmly with him and asking him to give me more information. The man continued to be more aggrevated and ended the call. So I decided to jump online to find out if he really did belong to the FDIC...and I ran across this web site with this exact issue.

A person showing 911 on my phone referred this message to me to call an offeicer at this #, the person's name they used was Austin Green. I tried calling this number then the Illinois State Police, no answer at either of them.

I just received a call which went straight to voice mail, saying there is a complaint against me and i need to either go to the local sheriffs office or contact Randy Smith at 919 714 0101. They threaten with jail time. Totally a scam, not calling back.

Yeah I'm. Here in Missouri and the State Patrol, Sheriff's Office, and City Patrol have all warned everyone of these scams going around telling everyone that under any circumstances they will not call you and tell you or threaten you with jail time to pay or ask for your information it is a SCAM.
