Called with stupid message, stop calling

Calls and hangs up as soon as phone is answered.

Just got one from this number on my unlisted work cell(I get most such calls on that). They all must be from auto generated lists. Good rule is if you don't know the number don't answer, and don't call back if they don't leave a message where you would want to call back. I also never give to any cause or do any business where I get an unsolicited call. I don't need to be told by a stranger where to give or what to buy....

This phone number calls me all the time.  Since I have called id and I don't know the number I never answer it.  They never leave a message.  

Tried to call them back and got reorder ring....

Heard someone laughing, talking in background. hung up when no one would speak to me.

Just called my house phone at 8:30 pm. Local number so I picked up. Heard laughing/talking in background then they hung up. If you try to call back goes to busy signal. Bull****.

Called in the afternoon, said something about calling on behalf of Raleigh firefighters. I couldn't slam the phone down hard or fast enough. I remember they used to call my line last year asking for donations.

Got a call from them (919-792-1649), they knew my name. They said they are the Firefighters ASSOCIATION. I've dealt with them before. They say they are raising money for firefighters in the area, when in fact, this group and "ASSOCIATIONS" keep the majority of the funds they collect while pretending to help the groups they claim to represent. With firefighters in my family and a friend lost in WTC on 9/11, this makes me angry. Scam and shameful!
