I am getting calls from various phone # when I google them everything points to NCO.  This is coming over my work phone #.  They ring 3 times an hang up.   This is one of the three #'s so far that has been used.  My company frounds on personal phone calls unless it's an emergency.  I don not answer unless I know who's calling.

They call my cell phone constantly. However, they NEVER leave a message.

They call on Sunday during church.

This unknown number which was identified by *69 has been calling for monthes asking for someone other than me.  They were notified and asked to stop calling.  They call every morning just after 8am. Today I told them I would sue if they continued so they called back 1 hour later.
I am going to sue.  Everyone should join me so they go out of business

A little more research.  NCO is a division of Capitol One.

They're still at it.  I'm pretty sure its NCO.  Somehow affiliated with Capital One.  Don't know what they're up to, except perhaps validating telephone numbers ?

They keep calling never leave a message id says NCO Group I spoke to them once month's ago told them not to call again that we did not owe any one we only have one credit card and it is still in use. They keep calling and today is a Sunday way against the law. I am very upset!!!

I keep getting calls from NCO numbers - every day!!!  They never leave a message.  Can someone advise?  Is someone doing this or is it a phone bank randomly sending out numbers?

They call my house at 5:45am and say because my phone number is registered in the state of maryland they are within their limits to call me that early. Well I don't think so.

I have received calls from NCO Capitol One from many different area codes.
They never leave a message but call about three - five timesa  day. The first time
I received a call from them I was concerned so I called back and confronted
the caller. When they told me they were Capitol One, I replied that I do not,
and never did had a Capitol One account nor any Capitol One credit cards.
I also asked that the person to look up my name and telephone number to verify
this information. She did, and appologized for the call. She said that in
fact they there was no account in my name or number on record. She said
she would take my number off their list, but never did. I still get these harrassing
calls. I was told the only way to make them stop is to register with a national
do not call list to stop telemaketing calls, and credit card companies trying to sell a
credit card.

I posted a complaint above on 11-17-2010. I received a call from Capitol One again
just a few hours ago. The caller identified themselves as Capitol One asking
me for my account number. I explained to the caller that I have been receiving phone
calls from Capitol One under alias of many phone numbers. I have confronted a number
of the calls in an attempt to resolve this matter and stop the harrassing phone calls.
I told the caller that I have already confirmed with Capitol One that I do not have an account
with them by searching their records with my name and phone number. And every time
the same results. NO Such account for my name and phone number. Tonight the representative
asked if they gave me an 800 to call if the calls do not stop within 24 hours. I told her no but
was advised to report the calls to the Federal Trade Commission which I hvae. The woman then
gave me an 800 number - 800-550-1991. I looked up the number online. It was not a number for
NCO but rather a number associated with a flight school. Is that too weird or what?
