They keep calling but never leave a message!

Caller was female, using a robocaller, and said "This is the United Breast Cancer Foundation" which we have previously investigated.  Horrible ratings as charities go, with less than 60% going to those they supposedly serve.  Will never give them money or speak to them, again.

Received a call requesting a donation from the United Breast Cancer Foundation. They asked me if I would like to donate and if so what could I pledge and then wanted my credit card number and I told them I do not give that out and to send me an invoice. The during the call I was switched over to another person who collected my mailing address. I received the invoice/request in the mail on a Monday & another invoice/request on Wednesday and then receive more calls on Thursday soliciting a donation. That is when I became suspicious.and did some research.  Most companies will appreciate you donation and provide you time to send in the monies that you pledged, but when they harass you like this something is just not right.  This is a cause I would love to support but not like this.  I decided not to submit the donation in and block them from calling.

I answered a lady's voice said.    PATRICIA   I said this is and she said ok I will call back and she hung up

Answered the phone to.  "My name"  I said yes, then silence.  My wife then alerts me from the kitchen that I just participated in a scam.  I immediately called my bank and alerted them to phone call and gave them this phone # on my account as a possible fraud warning.

They got me. I wish I had said "this is she." They called me at 8:38 pm and said my name as if they might have dialed incorrectly, I believe I answered yes, duh....I will be keeping a close eye on my accounts. Tricky little boogers.

Caller wanting asked to talk to me by name.  Though I said I was not here.

This party calls every two weeks or so, sometimes very late (9:20pm). I never answer and they never leaves a message.

I just said yes to her saying Lorna and she hung up. Was I scammed???

Received a call asked for Jose. I said sorry you have wrong number. "Oh that's ok we are calling in this area". Female  caller was asking for pledge to "united breast cancer ..." I asked where they were calling from. "Central office in Michigan" when I said yes. Switched call to supervisor to verify
donation . She asked for my name.  I only gave first name and which donation I wanted to give $35 or $50. She asked for credit or debit info and I said "oh no, I can"t today " I thought something would be mailed and I would send in a check or something. They will send me something in the mail. I am not so sure about this foundation because my caller Id indicated call was from audi wausau

They call multiple times a day and never leave a message.  I finally answered tonight, women's voice said my name as a question (as though we were old friends).   I hesitated, and said "Who is this?", and they hung up.
