no one there when answered. number disconnected when called back

Call from this number on my CELL; don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. No message left.

Two days in a row this number has called my cell at about noon. No message left. Call shows its from Wisconsin. I'm at work when the calls come in so I don't answer.

No one on the line I have blocked this number on my phone and it stills gets through

This number calls me 3-4x a day. Its a credit card company. I listened to whole message and pressed 1 to speak to someone. When she asked if I was interested in lowering my credit card rate, I asked why this number keeps calling. The girl said, and I quote "I will make sure you are on the call list, Enjoy the high call volume [***]" and hung up! I have reported this number to better business burea and nothing has been done. I dont know what else to do? I cant believe she not only swore at me, but instead of helping, threatened me.

I got several calls from these jerks. I finally talked to a guy, and he asked for credit card number, so I gave him one that is almost Topped out, he ran it, and gave me all of the info on the card. When he saw that it was at its limit, he asked for another card number. In the original conversation, he said that he wouldn't need any other cards, that they'd send me a package in the mail to add cards to the lower interest rate deal. When questioned, we were disconnected, and when I tried to call, it wasn't a working number. I immediately called my credit card company and reported the incident,  and had the card killed. Big scam, with big time reach. Don't give them anything, and report them to your local athorities if they try to scam you.

Someone from this number keeps calling and I do not know who they are and want them to stop calling.  When I call it, it says it is disconnected.

I pay for my phone bill each and every month with MY money, yet these phone scammers have more control and power over my phone than I do!  The "do not call list" is a complete joke.  It's amazing how our government can track our every move and know every detail of our lives but can't stop these rude, persistent and privacy invaders from calling law abiding citizens.  Our hands are tied and they know it.........my theory is that the government does not WANT to stop them due to some deal under the table just like everything else!!!!!  VOIPO has a great system for blocking these type numbers but it does take time every month to update it.  However, my mobile phone thru ATT acts as though they have no idea how to stop them........funny how they know how to track everything else I do on my mobile.  Again.......someone has their hand out!!!

A computer (Robo-Call) calls your number. If it's a number you don't recognize then don't answer it.
If it's an important call they will leave you a message. If you decide to answer then you just told the computer that your number is active and they will continue to call you. If you press 1 to talk to an operator, asking to be removed from their calling list, then by pushing 1, YOU called them. It's a SCAM.....just don't answer.
When you get these calls simply add the number to your contacts list and give it the name "Z-SCAM"
That way if they ever call you back you'll know it's a scam.

They have called me about 10'times now. About a month ago, I spoke with someone and asked to be taken off their list.  I thought it worked until today.  I got 3 calls this evening.  It's some BS credit card company.
