This call was from a collection agency, looking for a past roommate that was in collections for a school loan. I was very exasperated on the call and had a very impatient tone. Telling them that person NO LONGER LIVES HERE and hasn't in about 4 or 5 years, take my number OFF the list. HE then asked me who was maintaining my furnace. I said, what are you talking about!?
I honestly didn't know that it was a rude sexual reference until my husband told me. He was really mad and tried to call back but of course you can't redial this number.. So I'll wait for another call and ask for a manager. That was rude and unacceptable.

I just got a call from this number, ID said Pleasanton ... No one answers.... I call it back, and the phone service said it is disconnected ..

Mpower Communications Corp...  All of there over 100 numbers are saying disconnect or hold for Operator  and then hangs up....

I think I'm just going to start telling them, (funeral tone of voice), "Oh... I'm sorry to inform you, he passed, several years ago, if I'm not mistaken.  Sorry to just spring it on you, but I thought everyone knew...". (of course, you aren't lying, as it's a certainty that he has "passed":  Another car, on the highway; his mother, in the hallway;  his Civics Exam, in High School.  (LOL)

These fools are working for OTHER Fools, who buy accounts that had been sent to collections, and they get pennies on the dollar out of what was owed, when anything is paid.  The original Company money was owed to, writes it off as a loss/uncollectable.  Some of these accounts are so old that as long as you play dumb, you don't have to pay them (according to local TV Consumer Reporter).

PEOPLE: PAY YOUR BILLS ON TIME!!!  Avoid future annoying calls about stale accounts that have already been written off!

Worth Noting: even if you file Bankruptcy, School Loans NEVER GO AWAY.  I'm sure they'll figure out a way, if they haven't already, to take payment for them off the top of your Estate, when you die.   Probably with interest.

I just received a call from this number and the first thing the caller said was, "Brian." It sounded like some young punk kid, so I said "what?" a few times, to which they simply responded "Brian," each time. Then I asked them if their name was Brian, or if they were looking for Brian and they replied, "both." I asked him where his phone etiquette was and then said that he had the wrong phone number and hung up.

I get a call from this number almost everyday.   If I pick up they will say checking weather conditions.  The idiot doesn't even have a nerve to say what he is calling for.  So frustrating,   I am reporting him to the police.   They will take care of these idiots.  

Caller identifies themselves as INDOOR AIR QUALITY and says they've cleaned my ducts in the past (which is not true).  When you ask them not to call or to be put on their no calling list, the get RUDE and HANG UP, then they call repeatedly.
