How did you get my social security number? What is this about?

How did you get my sos#

Caller using my social security number to threathen me with a debt that I know does not exist.  I just laughed at them and I told them my attorney will be calling them back and they hung up.

I recieved several threatening calls from this number.  They also gave me my Social, Address etc.  Stated I owed money for something that I did not.  They threatened me at work and on my cell phone and said the police were going to go to my home and arrest me.  These people are scammers.  Do not fall for it.

Called and said basically the same things, should I get a lawyer?

Thank you for posting this. If you have not done so please report this to the attorney general of your state and the state the call is originating from.  I believe it's California on this number. If at all possible get the address and a call back number. This can be done by asking where to send the check? and If I have problems getting the money today do you have a call back number? ....  

I work in finance and collections and would like to see people like this removed from the industry.

If you can ascertain any contact info or actual company name I would also recommend a formal complaint with the better business bureau in the state they reside in. It's a very simple process and can be done online. http://bbb.org

I got a call from this number and they asked for Larry Nation and I asked who they where and he said in foreign language that I could hardly understand something like David Smith legal services and then started rambling on and told him to kiss my [***] and hung up.  This isn't the first time they have called.

I just got the same call. He tried to verify my SS# and I refused to do so. Then he said, "We are sending police officers to your place of residence to pick you up. Have a good day. Goodbye, and hung up." It has been a while since I have received one of these calls... The only thing is that last night, I applied for an "online cash advance". That is the only thing that I can think that they have got my info from.

And by the way, the number 925-237-8548 originates from Antioch CA
