This number calls everyday but never leaves a message. I don't answer numbers I don't know.

This number is a telemarketing company calling me on behalf of COMCAST.
1. You can call it back and select 2 to be on their own do not call list.   AND -
2. If you are a COMCAST customer you can call customer service and tell them you don't want any solicitation calls from them or their 3rd parties.

What gives Comcast the right to even give out my phone number??? Wtf.

Calls every day but leaves no message.

Like some other people I'm sure that said I do not answer to phone numbers I don't recognize. Well, that goes for me also, they have called on more than one occasion and each time I do not answer my phone and they don't leave a message.

Been getting a call from this number as well over the last few days. Thanks for the advice.

My phone is registered on the do not call list. It usually works. Submitted a complaint to FTC about this number.

The 3rd time someone from this # called, I answered it. Comcast marketing. Did I want to upgrade? No. Told them I wanted to drop cable but keep Internet. The person gave me the # for customer retention. Called it and took care of business. Have received 3 more phone calls after that, even after being placed on their do not call list. Wtf?

Try not to let this stuff get to you, though.  When there's a number I don't recognize, I google it, find out it's nothing important, and block the number.  Never hear from it again.  :-)

I second that advice. I used to be one that allowed unwanted calls to get me frazzled. But then I realized that it was not worth it. So I started to ignore unfamiliar callers. Eventually I was able to smile over the simple fact that they weren't going to succeed in getting me to answer.

That's true, but in my case there is always a certain anount of stress over the interim period of time when I receive a call from an unknown and (doing what I'm doing right now) researching the number with Google. IMO, the impact this has on people varies depending on situations surrounding an individual's life. Using myself as an example: In the past I could've cared less about receiving a call from an unknown number, but now that I have a newborn baby in my life to care of, my mind starts racing until the moment I'm able to verify where the phone call came from.

Blaze, possibly the newborn is to blame, having a newborn infant adds your names to lots of public records.
Investigate who, in your case, has jurisdiction over these records and file and 'opt-out' or whatever it is called, request
in that county, parish or state.   To quickly find out who handles this in your state, call the Secretary of State office for your state.
They will only be too happy to direct you to the proper agency.

they did not leave voice message. i called them back: automated line said this is American Support: they called me on behalf of Comcast.

Blaze...if the caller doesn't leave a msg, then it is not important enough to worry about (with or without a newborn).  Only family, friends, and legitimate companies leave messages.

  They called during dinner, I mistakenly answered.  He said it was comcast and were updating my records......I called comcast, and was told they were not aware of this problem. I will cancel comcast if they cannot, (will not), rectify this problem.  They are too big to care !!!!

(925) 350-5998 is not associated with Comcast. I checked with Comcast.

I called the number back after reading here about it being a Comcast 3rd party. Yes it is a private marketing firm. They are contracted out by Comcast. They call Comcast customers to offer upgrades and new contracts. I hate Comcast. Wish I had a alternative for high speed internet.

Better yet, always tell these salespeople you're recording call so your brother, who works for the sheriff's department, can look into it. Works every time.

Called no message.  Looks like filling database info for sale to others?   Blocking them.  BTW I signed up for a domain name and this crap started up almost immediately.
