I answered.  A recording said press 1 to accept your insurance approved pain medication prescription solution.  Press 2 to cancel.  I hung up since I don't have any pain medication prescription

I pressed 1 to accept pain medication which I did not order. Still haven't received it.

called, nobody on other end of the line. I let the phone line sit open for 20 seconds...just to waste their time.

Called tonight while I was driving my mistress back to my summer house, during a night of coke and heavy drinking, across the Chappaquiddick bridge.  While reaching for the phone, I swerved and crashed and through the guardrail, plunging the car into the bay.  I made it to shore 9 hours ago, but I think my mistress is dead.

It's a telemarketer. They pretend to be a nonprofit called "The Clean Planet Project" who is doing "community outreach".

They want to find out how much money you spend on electricity, who is your provider, and your zip code. They can later use that information to sell you as a lead to a company that installs solar.

They refuse to give you their address or any details about themselves. So they are most likely an illegal operation, probably skimming from federal subsidies.

I called the number back was able to talk with several of the scammers. They say the name of the company is "The Clean Planet Project" and they are based in Ventura, CA and that they are a community outreach program and want help you schedule an appointment to save money on solar. When I don't say what they want or ask questions they hang up on me.

Missed call, didn't leave message.  If it is a solar company, I suggest making an appointment just to waste their time.  You don't actually have to show up for the appointment.

It was Ted K (see above), calling me with some nutty scheme to cover up a night of debauchery gone haywire. Kept babbling about a car, a crash, a splash, and how "she's still down there, man" ...whatever that means. I told him to get a grip and do somethig useful with his time, like run for the Senate or something...

Doesn't respond when I answer.
