Call offering "free in-home energy evaluations" to try and sell you on Solar.  They push the government subsidies angle.  No business name is ever mentioned during the initial contact, but they do offer you an opt-out by pressing 3.

They called back!  Company is "American Energy Education Center".  I talked to one of their reps and let them know in no uncertain terms that I do not wish to be contacted by them.  If they call again I will be lodging a harassment complaint with the state AG.

3 calls in 6 days a little much for an ID of "cell phone AZ". I have a cell phone and am not afraid to identify myself on it with caller ID - SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I had a call from this number 928 273 3335. I dont answer calls that I dont know, and they didnt leave a message. But from this site, it seems like they are calling, I have a Phx listing, although Im not in the valley.

Called during the day when I was at work.  They didn't leave a message.  Glad I checked the phone number before I tried returning their call.  Methinks this is the first time they've called me.  20-30 times?  Time to call Seal Team Six.

This number calls six to seven times a day and leaves no message.  Is there a way I can these folks to stop calling me?

At 16:30 on March 16, 2012 I received a call to my home phone.  Upon answering, I was subjected to a recorded message revealing a “very import message for all power company customers”.  No mention about specifics, just how the “Federal and Local government is offering a $3,500 in cash incentives to homeowners taking steps to conserve energy”.   I was asked to “press ‘one’ now to setup a free in-home energy evaluation”.

After doing so, a gentleman who only identified himself as being with "American Energy Education Center" came on the line.  I immediately asked to be taken off his calling list.  He claimed the DNC list did not apply to him.  I asked him no less than five times during our approximately 1 min 20 second conversion to be taken off his call list.  He never agreed to do this, only offering excuses or changing the subject.  I asked to speak to his supervisor but was told they were all busy.  I asked for a callback number and was told there wasn’t one.

Finally, I explained to him that the conversation was being recorded (Arizona is a one-party consent state) and that I would be researching and filing the appropriate complaints.
Interestingly enough, a Google search for "American Energy Education Center" turns up only one hit, and that is this website.

They call my number, too, get the answering machine and they do not leave a message. We are on "do not call" list. Thanks for letting me know it is a telemarketer!

OMG...thanks for that.  We get the robocalling from this number all the time.  Drives us nuts.  Some sham company out of Prescott, AZ.  Correct me if I'm wrong but they have to have an extension that takes you off the call list, by law.  I wouldnt let these people in my house if my life depended on it!!

Here's what you do for this phone number ...if they should call.  Pick up and when you hear the robo-message, press 3 on your phone and you'll be removed.

Channel 10 News in the East Valley in Phoenix had an advertisement about a "free energy evaluation" I missed the name of the organization, but did write down the number. So here I am searching what's the scoop of things. Thanks for all the feedback!
