They called my cell. Left no msg.

Guy called claiming I had a 3000 dollar debt on a credit card and when I asked him the name on the card(i  have no credit cards) he hung up on me.

I called level 3 communications and they denied knowing about it because they sell numbers to quest...I can't seem to call this number back at the moment, but I want answers.

Apparently someone tried calling me from this number after 9:00 this morning (5/27/14), (928) 473-3705, Globe AZ. I didn't answer. I don't know this number, I don't know anybody in Globe AZ...never answer calls from numbers that you don't recognize,  people...if it's legit and/or important they'll leave a message, text or call you back.

Got a call from this number this morning around 9:10 (5/27/14) I didn't answer it because I don't trust all these number and the hacking I hear about on the news. Don't answer if you don't know the number.

Called my cell phone.  Left no message.

This is a huge scam.

Try calling the number back-it does not exist, this means they are spoofing caller ID, which means they are scammers

I answered and it was a call about lowering my credit card interest rate.  I dialed 1 as instructed and when I ask why there were calling a number on the do not call list they hung up.  I thought they said the name of the company was Globe Services.  Showed on my cell phone as coming from Globe, AZ.

I just got a call from this same number. Definitely a scam. After the prerecorded message was completed, I pressed 1 out of curiosity. A guy with what sounded like a south Asian accent asked me if I wanted to lower my credit card interest rate to 6.9%. Well, of COURSE I do. I asked which credit card he was calling about. Apparently he represents a smorgasbord of banks, including Capital One, Bank of America, HSBC, Discover, and others. What a coincidence that I HAPPEN to have one of those very cards.

He then proceeded to ask me to give him the expiration date and the last 12 digits of my card number. If the red flags weren't already up, that took the cake. The first 4 digits he didn't ask for are common to the bank and are easily extrapolated by a good scammer.

Anyway, I told him "Thanks, but no thanks" and hung up on him.

BEWARE!

Just got a call from this number, didn't answer it. I don't answer numbers I do not recognize.  Looks like they are busy today,  I am the 4th post in the last hour and a half.  Darned scammers!

Even I got a call just 10 min back. They are busy. I did not answer, and they hung up with out leaving a message. I suspect they are picking up numbers from craigslist.

Same thing on my cell, no message left, no answer at the number.

They called me today 8:35 Miami, FL time I picked up no one answered, seems like scam.

Just got the same type of call today (1-22-2015). They knew my full name. Asked if I wanted to lower my interest rate to 6.9% after he told me i owed $3,000 on my Capital One card. Told him I didn't have one. He then said it was for Citi Bank told him I didn't have one of those either. He said are you sure because we are showing you have a Visa card and you owe $3,000. Told him No and hung up. Called the number back and was disconnected or I was failing it without the area code.
