929-251-8306 came up as 24X7 PC Health and it was a male with foreign accent who thought someone had answered the phone but got the answering machine and kept asking if we were there. Believe it was a scam to try and get identity information.

I have received numerous calls from this number -  pick up, hear several clicks, then a recorded "goodbye."  Never a live voice at the other end.  Area code 929 is Flushing, NY

PC health scam that claims to be Microsoft

Received a call from 929-251-8306.
Caller ID read 24X7PCHealth.  

Caller insisted that my computer was sending error messages and we had to fix it before someone hacked me.  I'm a computer engineer and I own a computer repair shop.  Even if I wasn't in IT, I wouldn't trust a caller like this to care for my computer.  You shouldn't either.  No one legitimate will EVER proactively call you about your computer.  Make sure you have a relationship with a local repair shop and have their number saved in your phone.  NEVER let someone you didn't invite, into your computer.

Some strange person with a thick accentcalled me with the 24X7 PC Health called ID and they said that my computer isn't responding. JHe said he was from Microsoft . I knew right away that this was the scam I've heard about. I asked them which computer and they said your windows computer. I responded with "I don't own a windows computer" and they hung up.

Idiots!

I got a call from a woman with a thick Indian accent claiming my computer was at risk. I told her I had already heard about this scam and what kind of person was she to make a living stealing from others? She started arguing and I hung up. She immediately called back. I picked up the phone and without letting her speak I told her to never call again and hung up. She immediately called back a third time. I didn't pick up and it went to my answering machine. She hung up and called back a fourth time. Again I did not answer then I blocked the number.

They are scammers and want you to log onto your computer and they will give you a link which will allow them full access to your computer. Unfortunately it's sad that people actually still fall for this.
