Someone from this number left a message that they were going to repossess merchandise of mine.  I do not have any accounts in default.  I called the lender for my car and they confirmed that my account was current and that they did not call me.

I just an automated call from this same number telling me that they would be delivering legal documents to the address listed on my tax id number and if I had questions to call the same number back.

I tried and it tells me the person at extension 100 is not available and to leave a message, as soon as it beeps for me to speak the call disconnects...

I got several calls the voicemails all they were from the nation check fraud center and there were claim pending against my tax ID. and I would be receiving legal documents in 48 hours. I have pulled my credit report i and there is nothing the address listed is correct and weeks later i have not received any documents. this is a scam and I have blocked the number

I go a voicemail from this number saying that I will be receiving documents about a claim filed against me and my tax id.  The documents should be delivered in the next 24 hours.  I think this is a scam.  The guy talked really fast and I couldn't get all the details during the first review of the voicemail.  It took 4 replays to understand what he was saying.  What bull!

This is a scam!!! First of all no individual has a tax ID number !! You have a social security number... first clue! If they call again
tell them you are recording the call and and are turning it over to the local police department & DO it. I suspect this has something to do with the latest turbo tax hack but I can not prove that .

just received a call from this number, guys name was Mitch talked really fast... said I was going to be served with important documents ... can you say SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Called back blocked my number to see what they would say man was rude, talked fast and hung up when I got to asking questions. Number is not traceable back to a business sounds pretty fishy for me. Also, due to laws that prohibit sensitive data regarding this type of stuff cannot be left on an answering machine!! WHAT FRAUDS!

Yep got a call here myself. I honestly do not have to tell many of you since you all seem to have a slight bit of common sense to cross check numbers, but if they do not even try to confirm your ID first, then that is the first sign of a scam. At first I did seem a little nervous, but I have nothing they can repossess first and secondly the non-confirming ID was a big red flag.

It is attempting to use fear so you do not try to think it over rationally and would rather you act on the spur of the moment(like those winning a bunch of money from the foreign lottery)

Nah i doubt it has to do with some hack for that. I have never used turbo tax or anything besides H&R block(once) and the rest I had local tax preps help me. Most likely auto-dialers, selling phone numbers very very cheap from other places, and when people put in their phone numbers to get free stuff online.(read those things since it specifically saids you may get phone calls from third parties)

I was told it was the FCFC check fraud center and my employer and charges were pending and everyone would be notified in 48 hrs due to my tax return numbers.

I too have gotten 2 calls from Mitch Mcgary,1 last Thursday and another a few minutes ago. I explained the person they are looking for is my ex sister-in-law. The thing is,she hasn't lived in this state for over 20 years. This guy was REALLY RUDE! The first time I spoke with them they said they would remove my number from their list. Guess that didn't work. I'm thinking they will probably keep bugging me. Thank goodness for caller ID. What a bunch of losers.

Yeah they called me too and I just ignore them. Today I decided to call them back and give them a few words of wisdom before I hung up on them and didn't give them a chance to talk.

Have been getting these calls for a few weeks.  They even called my husband and left a message on his voicemail for me.  Today it was the Mitch McGary guy said he was from Corporate Recovery Division and he told me I needed to call in regards to a pick up order scheduled to be completed within the next 48 hours and if I have any questions regarding the merchandise scheduled for repossession feel free to call him back.  I have nothing that is scheduled for repossesion and am not behind on any payments.  Weird.  Not calling him . . . .
