Called looking for my employer. Very aggressive. Told me several time to put him on hold and get my employer immediately. He wouldn't believe that he wasn't in the office. He then became angry and told me it was extremely important and my employer was expecting his call. When I became angry he then hung up. No idea what he wanted.

My husband and I own the business and I received a call from this number.  The guy insisted that he was told to contact Tom (my husbands name) at this exact time and I had to get him.  I told him he wasn't in the office and he insisted I check.  I told him I didn't have to check I was the only one here.  He insisted I check again and get him.  He said his name was James and he was from the Scott Company and Tom was the one who said to contact him at this exact time.  When I asked him what it was concerning he said he would hold.  Throughout the whole conversation the guy is rude and ignorant and I assume he is still holding because I hung up.

The guy insisted that he was told to contact Jamie the owner and he had to speak to him immediately. When I told him he was not in the office and could I take a message he was rude and insistent that he needed to talk to him and that I should go check and see if he was there. When I asked who he was he said his name was James and when I asked him who he worked for he said the Scott Company and that I should go get Jamie right now. When I told him I was in his office he said he didn't believe me and that I should go look.  I finally hung up on him. He then called back again in a rude loud voice asking to speak to Jamie, again I hung up and he called back and I told him this was a business and he was a pain in the [***] and to quit calling and as I am hanging up he is still insisting on speaking to Jamie.

Received a call from this number asking for Robert and that Robert told him to call. When I explained that Robert wasn't in he insisted that I get Robert and that Robert was waiting for his call. I again explained that Robert wasn't in and that I could take a message. He again insisted that I get Robert. We went through this exercise about 4 times, and I told him that I was the only one in the office and that he would not be speaking to Robert. He said he was from the Scott Company, I have tried calling this number back and there is never an answer.

We received a call today from this number and they wanted to know who the president of the company was.  We asked what company they were calling from and they say Roland.  They were trying to sell something.  We told them we were not interested and hung up.

I received a call from this number and the man, "John" from the Smith Company, was extremely aggressive and rude. He insisted that our owner, Dan, was expecting his call even though I said he was not here. He told me that it was a legal and confidential matter and Dan would take the call. I insisted Dan wasn't available and I asked for his contact information. He hung up on me.

Call from James yesterday at the Scott Company. Very aggressive, very rude, insisted he had a scheduled call, and insisted I put him on hold a tell the owner he was waiting for him. Raised his voice, and spoke over me. I hung up on him 4 times and he continued to call back .  He finally tried the tactic of saying it was regarding a confidential legal matter that he would not discuss with me (if it was and I didn't put it through, I'd be in trouble) so I put his call through.  Turns out he is a very aggressive collections agent trying to solicit the business to collect outstanding accounts on our behalf.  My boss hung up on him too.  He called again today, trying to play the same game, but this time called himself Jim, not James.  If he calls often enough, it almost becomes entertaining.

He just called our business, VERY rude.. asked the same questions as above, I clearly wouldn't transfer him through and he hung up.  I thought he said he was from the Williams company, but at the end of the day it's irrelevant... he will be getting a lovely conversation with me should he choose to call back!!

Rude, Impatient, Agressive

Caller is very aggressive.  He was looking for my boss and I told him he is not in the office and insisted that I check.  I told him many times that he is not in the office, he is out of the office and tells me again to check that my boss is expecting his call.  He even asked me to give him my boss' cellphone number which I do not give out to anybody unless I know them.  I told him, "what I can do is have him call you back, give me your name and phone number and will call you back when he is available" and he refused to give me his number anyway.  He said his name is Jim.

Rude guy who called himself John from the Smith Group called for the boss by name, saying it was an "important legal and confidential matter". I told him the boss was unavailable and to give me his number and I would be happy to pass along the message. He then got even more rude and told me to get off my "lazy ass" and get the boss on the line because he had an important legal matter to discuss at 1pm... Well in the end he refused to give me his number, so I put him on hold until he hung up.

I had the same problem, he would not believe that my empolyeer was not in the building. very rude and aggressive. He needs to be reported. Called on 940-784-5141 if you see it block it!

Just received a call from this number - RUDE - AGRESSIVE - same thing.. told me that "don" was waiting for his call at this exact time - and to put him on Hold and get "Don" - Didn't believe the person he was looking for was NOT in the office... Said he was from Merit Group - gave me this number to call back as its his direct line 214-296-2578

i just received a call insisting that the person he was asking for was there, that I needed to look.  I insisted he was not there.  He asked me for his phone number.  Told him I did not give out numbers, especially not knowing whom I was speaking to.  He said his name was Cameron, and he was with the Moore Group.  I asked for his phone number, and he hung up.  I called the number back, and someone answered, "customer service".  I asked for Cameron, and they tell me he is busy, and so the person asks to speak to whom they called for originally.  I explained to him that he wasn't there.  I asked him what his name was, and he said Nolan.  I asked whom he was with, and he said, Johnson Company.  I said, "really?  Well Cameron said he was with Moore Group.  The guy said he didn't know what that was about, but could I have my person call 214-296-2578.  Said it was a personal matter.  So I just took his info, and said I'd pass it on.  After googling, I see what's going on.

Man said he needed to speak with the president of the company immediately .
Then he asked for the owner by name and said his name is Jim and will hold as he absoulutely needs to speak with the owner right now .
we explained she was not available and if he gave us his number she would contact him as soon as she was available .
he hung up ...very rude voice and attitude ,

I just received 2 calls from 940-784-5141 from a very rude and aggressive a** calling himself Oscar with the Muldonado Group asking for my owner by name. Wen I informed him that he was not in, he demanded that I place him on hold and put my owner on the line immediately; as he was expecting his call at exactly that time !! When I asked if he wanted voicemail, he hung on me only to call back; and try the same rude aggression again.

Man called himself Jim. Rudely asked for owner of the company claiming they were scheduled to speak at this time. Not true, he was in an airplane. I told him that I could take his information, etc. he hung up. Extremely aggressive, manipulative and rude. number he called from 940-784-5141

just received 4 time calls from 940-784-5141 very rude and aggressive, did not stop calling  until I BLOCKED his number.

Got a call from this number at the office - same treatment as others have reported. Very rude, very aggressive. Insisted that I send the call to the owner immediately. No matter how many times I stated the owner was unavailable. Stated his name was Eric Merritt with the Merritt Company. That's clearly b.s. The caller was told not to call our office again.

I have gotten several calls from this number asking for the previous owner of this business and insisting that he is here and expecting their call.  I explained that he is not here as he is no longer the owner and he was very rude then hung up.  So I called the CID number back on one of our other lines and let it ring till someone answered (about 30 times).  Someone finally answered and refused to tell me the name of their business but only stated that they take and make calls for at least 10 businesses.  I would suggest getting the companies name that they represent next time you get a call and calling that company directly and reported them.  They may not be legally representing any of these companies they claim to be.
