- Joe| 1 replyGot a phone call today on 10/17/12 at 3:15pm. The info and number and the caller ID showed V01715144800011 / 845-227-5310. The usual recording about saving you on your credit card interest rate, so I hit 9 and then came this middle easterner or Hispanic sounding male with very poor and broken English telling me that Visa, Mastercard, Transunion, Experian and Equifax can save me money on my interest. So I ask him what bank are you associated with, which he tells me again he is with the credit card banks like Visa bank and Mastercard bank and the credit bureaus banks, at that point I let him know that that is not possible, that not such thing exists, which he then proceeded to tell me to stop interrupting him and that he can talk slower to help me understand better (geez, talk about customer service manners), which I just opted to curse him out and hang up. Then I get a call back from Sarasota, Fl 941-312-8899, him again asking me why I hung up, which I told him politely to FU** OFF and not to call again, which he called a 3rd time from what the caller ID showed as 8018 - 941-312-8899, only for the calls to finally stop and there was nobody on the other line, so obviously a lame attempt to just be a sour pickle. All numbers are non-working numbers that somehow they are getting a routing system to make the call look legit but it is actually a fake, and a poor attempt at a scam. Please be warned and do not fall for any of this. No bank or entity will call you asking you for any personal info; they will have that info themselves and provide it for you to let you know they are a legit company.

- not to be scammed replies to JoeHi Joe:
The exact same thing happened to me yesterday and today.. and I did the exact same thing.....I told him that he was a [***] and a jerk and it is a terrible thing that you try to scam people and then hung up.. I told him that I was surprised that there is such an agency and that I could call my own CC companies and negotiate for myself.. then he said in a rude tone " well if you want to pay $1000.00 it will cost you $1,000.00" and he too told me to stop interrupting him.........and on and on like your story same numbers and sound like the same guy......... I tried calling the number back but of course it was no good..... they need to be caught THOSE [***]! - not to be scammedIt is a big scam! 11-15-12

- called too many timesThese people keep calling and using foul language after my wife called them out as scammers. now the woman calls multiple times a day and asks for my wife. When I ask who she is, she tells me she is my wife's friend. I said yeah right, I don't think so. So the woman tells me to go "F" myself. So I show her that I have just as colorful a vocabulary as her and hang up. Maybe this woman should get a real job instead of pranking others.
- sickofitSame thing here from the same numbers. Except the guy who called me was a dirty pig using disgusting words. I hung up and he called back. Scary, actually.

- Jack FrostThere are about 4 telemarketing firms doing this so play along with them like a caller from Hell:
1.tell them you owe thousands of dollars, the higher the better
2. make up a really goofy name
3. tell them you are a carnival worker, or live on a house boat
4. when they want you credit card # tell them your card is upstairs and to wait while you get it
5. put the phone down and walk away until you hear the disconnect beeps
6. when they call back ask them why they hung up on YOU
7. repeat step 5 and 6
8. add to your script by repeating #s (made up ones that is) very slowly as if you can't read the #s,
then change the numbers if they want to repeat...be sure to use #'s starting with 4 for Visa, etc.--NEVER GIVE YOUR REAL #S!
If everyone would waste their time like above, it is better revenge than cursing at them--I've done that too-- but this way is better I think!?- Caller: 941 312 8899

- PI got 17 calls in 20 minutes. When they called the first time I blew a rape whistle in his ear. So he kept calling with phrases like "when was the last time you shaved your pu..." told my husband "I told him I would suck lick his di.." Which of course just got the whistel blown in his ear again and again. Call blocked and calling the Unlawful Call Center for Verizon on Monday. 800-257-2969. of course the standard FCC complaint that takes them 3 years to do something about. Remember Rachael from Card Services?? 3 years of complaints.

- Me Too replies to March 6, 2013I got a call today. Same scenario: Said calling from my cc co (however he named it) and started saying that he knows that time to time I pay the minimum amount. I cut him off, told him he had no right to know anything about my cc info. I hung up, he called back and asked why I hung up on him and I repeated the above answer and hung up again. He called back a few times to harass and finally stopped.
I AM GETTING SICK OF SUCH BLOOD SUCKERS!
