Called my work and discussed a lawsuit they was filing against me for a loan that was taken out and not paid only thing is I didn't take out a loan from the company they was talking about which was Americancash.com which the website domain is up for sale. The law firm that was calling was Saunders & Walker.

Today I got a call from this person threathen me on the phone. Said they where a lawsuit on me for a school I went to 5 years ago and graduated from. States that I own them 5000 dollars and I better pay them the money I told the guy I don't have that kind of money, he then told me to go out asnd steal the money from somewhere and pay them or go to court. What should I do?

It's a scam. Tell them you have contacted your local authorities, don't fall for it. Google the number and look how many people have gotten these calls! They need to be stopped!!!

This is a scam!!!  I had someone call me stating to be from Saunders and Walker law firm.  They threatened that I had taken out multiple loans and gave fake account numbers to repay and if I didn't settle today I would have federal fraud charges filed against me.  The man said his name was Mike Rogers and was very intimidating.  He also called my employer and gave them all my personal information.  I contacted the real Saunders and Walker law firm and they know of the scam, the scammers are using this law firm as a front.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE MONEY OR ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

Second time I received a call at work they are very rude and threatening.  Wanted to talk to my supervisor so they could tell him I was a criminal. (that is what the guy said).  I put them on hold and got the police department on the phone and he called the police officer a liar.   He was given the police departments number to call which he did and he was very rude and repetitive to them when he called.  Spoke very inappropriately last time, to myself and my co-workers.

I keep getting a call from this para legal - threatening a law suit... this is very upsetting.  I am glad to see it was a scam, they need to leave me alone!!!

I just got a call from an African man he didn't have his script right so I hung up on him after he couldn't tell me which country he lives in. Then I called them back from my cell phone and got Jeremy Smith on the line. They threaten to called the police and have me hauled off to jail from my work place. I told them my nose is clean and I will call the authorities on them if they call me again. Americancash.com or one of those payday cash places. They are the only ones that have this information on me.  I just paid all my debts today.  They said I would be fined up to 5,000 and put into custody for a few days. SCAM and Scare tactics. They should be shamed...

It came as I had a case crimmenal pending in florida in whcih I nave stepped foot in florida

i reported 941-357-7987 to the FTC about the call hopefully this will be settled. Its as if they want peopleto complain and pay lawyers to stop the harass ment. Not sure which is the scam them or real lawyers wanting money and potentially have these people do this cause ivve seen these complaints all over yet not on the news maybe someone should put it in the Media.

Hi cindy i see that u have compained about the same thing that just happened to me not even a half hourago. I reported it to the FTC hopefully this can become a lawsuit they can put against these people. I mean seriously who calls and says your going to jail "IF" . So Im glad to see its not just me this happened to cause yes it is very scary. Im wondering if theres more to this because i see a lot of complaints but no legal actions. Just report it!

Claimed the police would be arresting me tomorrow if several thousand $ was not paid.

Yes I too just received a call. Al Smith left me a message and I called back and he threatended me about fraud.  Told me I was gonna be picked up Thursday.  Thank God my Mom had the where withall to know this had to be the makings of a SCAM.  She's calling them and telling them that she has contacted Saunders and Walker and is gonna sue THEM!!!!

I got a call about an hour ago.  Jeremy proceeded to threaten me.  I told him I knew this was a scam and already reported them to the FBI.  He then told me it didn't matter I would be dead tomorrow.  What a bunch of idiots.  A professional company would not make such threats!

He called back and left a message saying he knows my ssn and where I work and that one of his officer is coming tomorrow morning to pick me utp and that his going to make my life miserable.

TODAY, I received call from a number 941-357-7987 who started immediately trying to intimidate me saying they were going to make an example out of me and send me to jail unless we paid $750 saying that I was given this loan 2 months ago. NOT TRUE. I NEVER ACCEPTED ANY MONEY OR FUNDS. They said that they were with an attorney's office of Saunders & Walker. While I was on the phone, my spouse googled the phone number and found out that this is a scam that is going on with lots of people within the past 48 hours (on this website). They were very threatening and kept having me transferred to 4 different people, two of which claimed they were attorneys and saying they were going to send me to jail on Thursday if she didn't pay the amount due today and that they would pick me up at our home and hold me for 2 days until they take me to court then I could plead her case. They said they would NOT send me an email or any other information, but wanted to collect payment immediately and then said they would NOT allow me to pay, but would rather take me to jail instead as an example, basically wanting me to "beg" to be let off easy by paying the amount due. Also, they said they didn't want to jeopardize my "perfectly clean" background and credit (ALSO NOT VALID - I HAVE A PAST AND CRAP CREDIT). After I fibbed and told them that I CALLED Saunders & Walker and they have no records regarding her owing money and that this is a scam, they finally hung up (after 45 minutes on the phone). They used a whole string of psychological and intimidation tactics and threats. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE SCAMS - DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE. The dead give away here was also that the people she spoke to were from India
