Husband got a call from 949-286-3311, answered, was background noise, but no one talking.  He hung up, and immediately got a call from that number again.  He didn't answer, and they left no message.  Did a reverse search on Switchboard.com, got no name, but it said it was a landline in Orange County, California from PacBell...

This person has called me three times today and has left no message.  I have a feeling it is the same person who called me a month ago and scammed me out of some money.  Unfortunately I am to trusting, so I gave information I shouldn't have.  DO NOT GIVE INFORMATION TO THIS PERSON.  Asian accent.  Claims to be from the IRS to give you $10,000.  IT IS A SCAM!

Disregard my last message.  I did a little more research and it appears to be Verizon Wireless.

Received a call from this number today but no one answered on the other end.

I keep getting calls from this number, but because I didn't recognize it, I've been ignoring the calls... the person never leaves a voicemail. I wish I knew who it was... I even have all my #'s on the national 'do not call' list.

Its big brother listening, have you noticed that certain people are targeted with the calls. Those people or their friends must have said something about the government around their cell phones. They might be considered as terrorist and your cell phone is being recorded. Now days everyone is a terrorist that lives in the usa in the government eyes. Your freedom is being taking away from you and you can't do nothing about it. Until its starts happening to you.

JUST CALLED 949-286-3311......WAS ANSWERED BY A ROBO RECEPTIONIST CLAIMING TO BE VERIZON WIRELESS FINACE SERVICES?????

I received a call from this number and I did not pick up. They left a message asking me to call back at 1800-277-4542 regarding my Verizon account. I then received a text message saying I should call 1800-267-4016 regarding my account. I called Verizon at 1800-922-0204 and asked them if the numbers were legit. Verizon said that those numbers to do not belong to Verizon and do not know who is sending the messages. They said that there was no reason why they would need to call me regarding my account since it was fine and to disregard the calls.

I have recieved calls from this # many times. They do not leave a spoken voice mail, but i can hear someone breathing. creepy.

I received a call from 949-286-3311..they act like they know me.  PLease take this caller's phone privileges away.  They are a nuisance and doing it through Verizon.

No idea who this is for sure, but I didn't answer and  no message left.

this number called twice in 12 minutes...no message left...in the past I have also received similar messages claiming to be Verizon Financial Services...very strange...

This number called me today and I kept say Hello for a cople of time and no one answered, he/she  hanged after 1 minutes. Who is that??

I received similar calls, asking me to call back 800 277 4542.  Called the Verizon Wireless main # and was told these calls did come from Verizon Wireless Financial Services and the numbers are legit.  

Be good if Verizon put something on their website with this # so that people wouldn't think it's a scam.

I am getting calls from this # up to five times a day!  I think Verizon should block it! When I looked it up, it said it was based in Irvin CA.  I don't know anyone there so I am not answering.

I can always go to Sprint, and THEY let you talk free after 7pm instead of 9!

They Call me often as well, I answered and no one answers back.   Since it happens to be my cell phone they call I justdon't accept it any more

It is, indeed, Big Brother. Even if it is someone working for Verizon...The proverbial 'they' will find an excuse to harass a person the person is a target . My acct was paid in full and the person said the current AND the next billing cycle was due. She was full it **it... KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

My bills have been payed on time. That is why this number is confusing. It never leaves a message, and when I call it back, it's just a robo-receptionist.

I swear it's a phishing scam, you know, call it back, it SOUNDS like verizon, asks for you billing info, and BAM, you credit card is charged for 1000$ worth of porno dvds.

It must be legit though. Hmmm. I will keep investigating.

I received a call from this number today.  I answered, but no one responded.  I have autopay with Verizon and received a text message a few days earlier thanking me for my payment.  What gives?

I don't even have a verizon acct and they keep calling me..
