Rec'd a text message regarding lowering mortgage payment by doing a loan modification.  They asked if they could call me and the URL listed is loanmod-gov.org.  I did not give them permission to text me and want to be removed from their list

Got a text message from this number at 12:41 am!!!! I have never heard of them and the web page is bogus.

Text reads: "loandebthelpcenter.com Homeowners, we can lower mortgage payment by doing a Loan Modification. Late on payments OK. No equity OK. May we give you a call?"

All switchboard.com shows is that it is Unpublished Irvine, CA.

Received a text in the middle of the night from this number listed under loandebthelpcenter.com asking if they could call.  I am reporting it.  Now what?  Will it stop?

also received a message at 2:30am which woke me up- same number, same message above.  they need to be shut down.

They called at 12:30am.  Was not very happy although I didn't hear my phone so I was not waken up.  I thought it was illegal to do.  Hopefully someone will crack down with more authority!

Got the same text on 2 cell phones in our household. Mortgage rate garbage.  Replied NO and take me off the list - NOw what?

This went by debthelp55.com in the SMS SPAM at 5:08 PM on 10-Sep-09.  Replied via SMS.  Do not use their services.  If they will spam a cell phone on the Do Not Call list, will they treat you fairly?  No!

got similar text from debthelp55.com at 4:30 a.m.  Another, from a different (949) number, indentical text message, phone company had no solution, so I had to change our phone number.  >:[

What can we do about this problem. I always seem to be on some list for some reason. I've black listed my phone and that doesn't work.

Those are my domains but I do not do the SMS. No idea who and why is doing this - typo perhaps ? Those domains are parked and that would be bad business sending such expensive traffic to just a parked domain, the cost of SMS would be 10 or more times higher than the cost of SMS, imho.

Received several text messages from these people. Some are very early in the morning. I finally had to start silencing my cell phone (the only phone we have) at night while we sleep because of these text messages. I just received another text from them.... twice back to back.

"Lowerpaymnt.net Is your mortgage payment too expensive? Our Loan Modification programs can lower your payments immediately. May we please give you a call?"

You would think that if I didn't respond yes the first time, they'd stop but no, they keep texting me. I am soooo freakin' sick of it!!

On Sept. 29, 2009 I received a texy message on my cell from this number. Also about a loan modifacation.

If you reply then they know its a valid phone number!
I treat it like Spam - unsubscribe means you'll get 50 new junk e-mails.

i dont want these calls period

Was texted without my permission.

October 1st I received a text about Loan Modification from this number without my permission. Have reported to National Do Not Call as well. I also willnot respond to avoid further texts.

according to others the organization is loanmod-gov.org

Also received 3 texts in a row from these clowns.

You should report via FTC.gov...more teeth than the Do-Not-Call reporting process.
