Calls at all hours - won't leave message and hangs up when asked who they are and what company they are calling from

Gets calls all times of day and night.  Won't answer.  When I try to call back, get a dead line.

I can pretty much guarantee you that it is one of the land lines for Monex Precious Metals.  They have multiple landlines starting out at 949-752-xxxx.  I know because I have received numerous calls as well.  About 1 year ago made a purchase from them.  They are located in Newport Beach, CA.

Called trying to offer me a business opportunity. I told them that I am on the Do Not Call list.

CTI 949-752-2878, 2833, 2838, 2834, 2369, 2835, 2366  We usually receive two calls a day, one around 11:30 A.M. and another around 6:30 P.M.  They always ask for my husband if I answer, which is usually the case.  I tell them that we are not interested in anything that they have to sell or invest in.  They got to where they would just hang up when they heard a female voice answer.  I finally got wise and last night I used the deepest male voice that I could when I answered, and told them that I was my husband and that I was not interested in buying or investing.  We will see if it worked.  I have found that just telling these folks that you are on the federal and state don't call list, does no good.  They will just say that they are taking a survey, and so therefore they can call people on the lists.  I have been told that because my husband is a business owner, he is on a list which hundreds of companies have access to. This I believe..I can get rid of one company and three more start calling.

CTI at 949-752-2878 has called numerous times. Usually twice a day. They usually ask for my wife. If I say she is not available, they hang up. I have told them at least four times to put me on their Do-Not-Call-List. They say they will, but obviously it doesn't happen. One time my wife talked to them and they said they would help her with her continuing education. My wife is not interested in continuing her education any longer, she is retired.

tonight (1/18/11) at 7:57pm (caller ID) when female caller asked for Richard and she could not pronounce my last name...I said my name was just 'Richard' and asked what this was about. She said they were looking for investors and again asked if I were Richard (mispronounced my last name again)...I told her there was no one here by that name.  She hung up.

Whenever I answer they hang up. When I call back they don't pick up, when they do they just hang up
