- dottie JamesRings about four times
- Symon M.Another robocoll - apparently a cel phone reseller. This was interceped (and blocked) by my phone firewall so I just ignored it.
- Caller: US Telecom
- Call type: Telemarketer
- LeoI got this prerecorded female voice message in my voice mail regarding donations to help the veterans by donating personal properties such as cars, mobile homes or even your house are tax deductible. When I called back, I also got a prerecorded female voice saying, "We're sorry, you have reached the number that has been disconnect or no longer in service." "If you feel you have reached this recording in error, please check the number and try again." That's ridiculous and stupid!
- Caller: Donate That Car (on my caller ID)
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- Kurt PetersThey called at 8:58 PM. I didn't answer the phone, so this went to my answering machine. CLAIMED it was "Cash for Vets", if I had an unused car or property I wanted to donate. The message left an 800 number to call.
HOWEVER when I immediately called back the number showing up in CALLER ID as 949-777-2290, it says it is a disconnected number. That is a SURE giveaway that these people are CLAIMING to be helping Vets. I am a disabled Vet, I don't believe ANY REAL group helping Vets would SPOOF a disconnected phone number.
I am SURE calls from this group are dishonest and a SCAM. I am SURE they REALLY DO NOT help Vets. PLEASE, if you want to help Vets, DONATE DIRECTLY, NOT through these liars.- Caller: Cash for Vets (a lie)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Cherylwho believes this s***? Claimed it was for Vets.
- M| 1 replyCaller ID: "Donate that car"
Robocall voicemail suggesting that we donate our car to Vehicles for Veterans. We pressed option =9 to be removed from their call list. We also called them back but it is a invalid "disconnected" number = scam.
We're reporting the scumbags to the authorities.- Caller: Caller ID: "Donate that car"
- Call type: Telemarketer
- RezaScam calls. I have received 3 calls in the past 2 days. It is always a pre-recorded female voice talking about donating to veterans but when you call them back the number has been disconnected and their website does not exist.
- Caller: Cars for vets
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Pamela G replies to MNever press anything to be removed from the list. That only verifies that they've actually reached someone. Then the calls continue.
- bellaI received another robocall from 949-777-2290. I listened through the recording and selected the option to speak with a live rep. They do have an option to simply have your number removed, but this obviously did not work. Ted answered the line. I sarcastically offered that I am about to contribute my frustration for the constant unwanted calls and asked for his name, twice because all I heard was the company name in response. Ted immediately went on a profanity-laced tirade because he alleged he stated his name already and continued to yell in my ear about the fact there was an option to remove my number. He straight up said f*** you and more than once! When I asked to speak with his supervisor, this is when he offered another f*** you and hung up. I dialed the number I had originally received the call from -- to no avail as the 949 number is a spoof. I tracked down this 888 number for the same charity and dialed, and lo and behold, Ted answered! I let him know who I was and not surprisingly, he hung up but this time without the colorful language. He's continued to ignore my calls and when I do get him on the line to ask for a supervisor, he politely replies, "There are no supervisors, we are here on a volunteer basis," before disconnecting the call. Volunteers? Charity? I effin think not.
