Report a phone call from 949-812-4687 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Unsurecalling employment of individuals that have no business taking harrassing phone calls from this number.
- AngelBrian/Michael Hansford (hard to tell what his name is because he mumbles) is the caller. WWR is a collections agency based in Irvine, California. They can also be reached at 866-897-9058 so you can call them and harass them on their dime. You can also provide feedback but they don't really seem to care what you have to say so just tell them you don't know anything and hang up. Good luck!

- mad victom of harrassmentThis woman calls and just starts asking questions and gets very rude when you tell her she has the wrong person and keeps telling you that your the person that she is looking for and demands that its your responsibility to pay the bill she claims to have on paper in front of her. I hung up on her and keep getting voice mails from her that I need to call back and resolve this matter. I have tried and they still won't stop calling.
- boombotzyeah they just called me and said they weren't a collection agency or a sales call. they were calling in regards to what business i am doing. currently all i have been doing is sitting on my butt watching my kids. so how is that illegal lol!

- maruaderWorld Wide Recoveries located at 2414 S Fairview, Suite 210 in Santa Ana, CA 92704. Their 800 number is 866-897-9079 but their local number is 714-380-5875 - plus 10 other AKA's (Coastal Mitigations, Shekinah, Coastal Asset Management Group, Luis E. Vasquez, Capital Recovery Services Group, Empire Recovery). They do not follow the FDPA, they do not respect Statute of Limitations. They call relatives, friends, landlords, employers and when told to stop they won't. You may not even owe a debt. They look at your credit record and then they find something and start harassing you. Intimidating you. Even threatened to come to house and commit bodily harm. If people do send money, it never gets to the creditor, it goes in their pockets. Then you still owe the money. They are rated F with the BBB. Also look for 1-866-897-9058,714-380-5865,866-897-9080 and on and on. DONT SEND MONEY!!! And nobody who calls you gives you their real name. Don't give them any info, no address or banking or credit info.

- Sophisticated Consumer| 1 replyReceived numerous calls from this company over the past few months. They deceptively use alternating area codes and phone numbers to disguise their identity on caller ID. They sometimes use a prerecord voice message via an IVR asking for you to "retrieve this message" by calling 949-812-4680, not supplying an 800 # as FDCPA requires. They leave voice messages and call with no messages multiple times on the same day, also an FDCPA violation. They do not identify themselves on the recordings or even when you call them, which again is another FDCPA violation. They also block their number when calling as unknown, and a feminine sounding man requests a call back referencing your property address, saying he (or she) has a question about the property address, deceptively alluding to other reasons for the call to prompt you to return the call. I called this company back and spoke with a man who had a heavy Hispanic accent, who was very rude and over talked me. He refused to identify the company or the reason for the calls, laughed and hung up on me. Not even an hour after my contact with this man my wife and I started receiving calls as if we were calling each other. I called our phone company and they confirmed we were victims of "Spoofing". It is a terrible coincidence that right after I called and spoke with this company my wife and I started receiving such calls; especially when this company calls us repeatedly using fictitious numbers that they program into their software in an effort to misrepresent themselves to get you to answer the phone. I also mailed them a certified letter demanding that they Cease and Desist to the address listed and it came back rejected. I called and spoke with the post office in that city zip code and the carrier confirmed that the company in question "refuses to accept certified mail". This is just another example of their deceptive practices. I have filed a complaint with the FTC, Attorney General, and other regulatory agencies. I URGE all of you to file such complaints with regulatory agencies so they will investigate this entity and bring them to justice. There is strength in numbers and we ALL need to fight back! I am not done with them, my attorney is looking into a class action suit as I have already had over 100 people provide my attorney with their contact information to join the class action. FIGHT BACK!!!

- upset caregiver| 1 replySomeone from this number called numerous times today and only left one message (hard to understand) letting me know if not in contact by 10:00am tomorrow it would not be any need to get in touch with them. I called this number to get an angry Mr. Mclaughlin. He was screaming and talking over me, would not let me ask any questions. He wanted to know if my husband was home. I continued to ask who he represented because I just don't tell anyone when my husband is home or not. He wanted to know how long we had been married. He stated if not him, someone from his office spoke to myself or my husband about five months ago and supposedly said for him to sue us because we didn't care we were not paying the bill. I ask what bill and he said if I didn't know about it my husband was apparently keeping something from me. I explained that I handle all financial dealings in our home and I would contact my attorney in the am. My husband called him back and he told my husband everything was taken care of and for him to have a good day. WHAT IS THIS AND WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE.

- FredCompletely rude call full of harrassment. Didn't even know who they were calling. Hope they get what they deserve. They do not let you know who they are or who they are associated with. Sad!
- Kristin replies to Sophisticated ConsumerI would love to join the class action lawsuit. This company brazenly violates the law and needs to stop!
How can I get in touch? - DouskThis is CMA. We've left several messages for you to call us back. We have yet to hear from you. If we don't hear back from you by 10am tomorrow, there will be need to call.

- JR replies to upset caregiverI just received the message (thank God I didn't answer the phone) in a strong male voice "This is CNA at 949-812-4687- if you don't call us back by 10am there's no need to call back". Damn collections agencies-especially when they have been calling several times a year (for several years) for a relative they are trying to collect from who I haven't seen in 10+ years. CRAZY!!!
- They are IDIOTSEveryone needs to be well versed in the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collections Practices Act). They cannot threaten you. They also cannot leave threatening messages on your voice mail, nor disclose any information to a 3rd party. You can search for an FDCPA attorney in your area and I am sure they will be more than willing to help you file a lawsuite against the company and also the collector that is threatening you.
